I am very happy with Pasco-Hernando State College! I am going into the field of Business Management with big dreams of one day landing an awesome career in either sales management, supply chain management, or marketing management. I am a hard working student who has found that my ethic in school is indeed very rewarding. I can not put a price on my education in my own mind, and what makes my school unique is the professors that truly care and have a deep passion for what they teach. One time my favorite professor Vince Daviero (Business) was teaching a lesson in one of the more rigorous intro to business classes about risk and reward in specific relation to entrepreneurship. I will never forget how he asked the students to check their wallets to see who was willing to pay the most for a simple white envelope he held in his hand. Nobody knew what was in said envelope, but we all wanted to so a woman in class paid five dollars for it. When she proceeded to open this white envelope she found a scratch off from a local convenience store inside. It was a one dollar scratch off and she paid five dollars for it, but the funny thing was when she actually scratched it off; the woman won fifty dollars and Mr. Daviero let her keep the card and her five dollars! I would definitely choose PHSC again because I have had such a great experience while perusing my education here. I feel like I made the right choice to attend PHSC. I have always had the resources and kindness necessary to be successful, and that is why I would choose Pasco-Hernando State College if I had to choose all over again.

I have taken a couple of hybrid classes at PHSC and I am taking some fully-online courses this coming semester. Registration was just as easy as registering for on-campus courses. I love canvas: it makes it so easy and convenient to submit assignments, see grades, take quizzes, keep classes and due dates organized, contact the professor/classmates, etc. From the classed I've had in the past, the workload is not overwhelming and submitting assignments is so much more convenient!

A lot of my classes I was able to take at the Brooksville campus (North campus) which I could take the public bus to most of the time. But, some of the teachers there don’t know how to teach well enough to their class. I experienced this personally because I struggled with a math teacher there that couldn’t speak English that well or even teach for that matter even though she was a very nice person. I ended up re-taking the class over at the spring hill campus before they relocated and passed the second time with a high B+ because the teacher knew how to teach her students and communicate with them perfectly. The rest of my classes at the spring Hill campus were very enjoyable, and I learned a lot from all my professors there. Most of them are excellent instructors and I passed all the courses with flying colors! All the people who work there are very helpful, informative, and actually treat you like a person instead of a number. And, just recently the public transit comes to the campus now so people can get a ride there.
