Off-Campus Dining: Extremely Good – Napa Valley. 'nough said. Seriously, this place is known for two things, wine and food. Imagine Southern France.

Drug Safety: Can Be Bad – It depends on who you chose to spend time with, I suppose, but it can be pretty bad, and it's pretty blatantly bad when it is bad. You can pretty much tell which students are drug users and which ones aren't. The drug enforcement at PUC is so lax that if you get caught using drugs, and get in trouble, you are probably very very stupid.

4 College Junior

Diversity: Very Tolerant – In general, the school is very tolerant, so far as to say that I'd find it hard to believe there are campuses that are significantly more tolerant. Gay students are sometimes picked on, but in general, it's a very accepting atmosphere.

Weather: Very Bipolar Sometimes – The weather, I'd have to say, is really nice for most of the year. Nice and cold, which I prefer since you can cover up and keep warm when it's cold, as opposed to it being hot (you can only take off so much clothing, right?). For the most part the weather is at most, 75 degrees, but sometimes it gets really hot, randomly (90 or higher). It can go from rainy to sunny in a few minutes, but I'd say it's really nice, in general.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: There is no greek – PUC is small enough so students can be part of a community without social fraternities. There are lots of clubs and honor fraternities as well, however.

Health & Safety: Nothing dangerous – Now that the Zodiac Killer is gone, there is nothing to be afraid of.

5 College Sophomore

Weather: Even when its hot, there's a nice breeze. Might snow once or twice a year, nothing extreme.

Scholarships: They give everyone some aid but they don't give out that much aid to any one person so if you need a LOT, you're probably screwed.

Administration: Sometimes PUC's administration is very strict. Other times they are very lax. It's completely unpredictable.

Diversity: Super Diverse – PUC students come from all over the world and country.

Transportation: There Is None – To get to any sort of public transportation, you would have to walk at least ten miles down a huge and unsafe hill. There are no buses on campus to help people get around. This school is horrible about transportation.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: There Could Be More – This school is very expensive. They try to get every ounce of money that they can get out of one person. The financial aid that they do give is limited and not a whole lot. They could definitely make the transition smoother to get the aid also.

Local Area: In the Middle of Nowhere – This school is up on a hill with absolutely nothing but houses for the people who work here, one little tiny grocery store with nothing but vegetarian foods, and there is no such thing as public transportation unless you count an ambulance. The closest town is very tiny and it is ten miles down the big hill. The closest city where there is decent shopping and attractions is an hour away.

3 College Freshman

Weather: It Is Sporadic and Unpredictable – It could rain one day and be 80 degrees and sunny the next. classes are far from the dorms and it does not help if you walk to class wearing the wrong attire for the weather.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Caring Professors – Haven't had a professor that wasn't helpful to students.

Administration: There's really no reason to it. Totally unpredictable. Also, usually you won't get caught.

4 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Select Few Options – There are very few bars locally. Parties are rare but they do happen.

Campus Food: Not the Worst – Some meals are really really good, some are not. At least you have choices, and everyone has different favorites so I guess they're doing something to please everyone, sometime...

4 College Sophomore

Weather: Unpredictable but never extreme. It'll keep you on your toes and comfortable.

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Check Out St. Helena – St. Helena has been called the dining capitol of the world and it makes sense with all the delicious places to go. Just be careful, its not always easy on the wallet!

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Great School to Go to – There is so much to do and get involved in here. Its big enough to have lots of opportunities like a bigger school but small enough so everyone can get involved in stuff and feel like one big family.

4 College Sophomore

Transportation: Drive locally, fly long-distance. Shuttles to most places for breaks.

3 College Junior

Administration: Fairly Strict When It Comes to Drug Usage – Drug usage at times will only suspend a person for a week. Other times to make an example out of the students they will suspend a student for a whole quarter or even expel them for drug usage such as alcohol or marijuana.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: Dont Get What You Pay for – The cost of food is fairly high for the quality of food by tastes texture and presentation. It has only vegetarian and vegan options no meat.

3 College Junior

Local Area: San Francisco Is Great to Go to but a Bit of a Drive – The drive to the Bay area is on average 2 hours which is a bit of a stretch to do unless its on the weekend.
