Local Area: They have everything you need, however it is very pricey. It Everything is close by if you need to go to the store, buy your textbooks or even put gas in your car. However, like I said it's pricey and it's more convenient to go down the hill to St. Helena to get groceries.

Majors: I didn't necessarily do any intern yet since I am still in college level. However, I had this chance to work for Hospital which is just 10 minutes away from our school (more than 2 years I have been doing this), I worked as a volunteer for Spiritual Care, doing discussions in the recovery center with addicts, non-denominational bible study with anyone at the hospital, and so on. It was a great opportunity and great experience to have. This is a possibility of getting some experience, and other volunteer experinces are also available at the hospital.

Majors: This program is fairly easy to get in. The only small issue would be to do a lot of writing and reading as the religion major yet taking many science classes at the same time.

Majors: I am very happy about my major. i would do it again if I have to. My career goal is to become a medical missionary. My concerns about that would be that it is not "certain" which specifically I am going to do and where I will be at later.

Majors: My major is Religion emphasis in health. I love it since i cannot find this cool combination anywhere else. This gives me a good foundation in religion for the future job related to health and medical areas I am interested in.

Majors: Very pleased with the program. Really wouldn't change anything.

Majors: I have held many internships at PUC and at various top tiered universities, but I would rather not go into further discussion on this topic.

Majors: I enjoyed my major. It was difficult and challenging but I know that when I enter medical school all of this hard work will pay off. They have provided me a good foundation for my career.

Majors: I got my B.S. in Biology and going into medicine. I thought that getting into the Biology program was not hard at all. All the faculty were very friendly and were willing to help me me out whenever I needed help.

Guys & Girls: Students are really smart and outgoing. Its realy easy to just go up tonsomeoneyou have never met and spark up a conversation. Relationships are really hard to get in to themselves at the school. Most guys and girls are looking for hookups. There are a few stusents are extremely religious who believe in abstinance untill marriage so those studenta are more prone to stick together

Weather: The weather on most fall and spring days are clear skies with a few clouds. During the winter there is a lot of variability; however, seeing as the weather here is suppose to be a rainy sort, it is quite sufficient to expectations.

Campus Quality: Most of the facilities are old and are in need of major renovation. Such as the weight room and the gym, even for a school of only 1,600 students, the weight room is not sufficient to take care of the needs of exercise hungry students.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: The parking is fairly well set up, it is cheap and there are a sufficient amount of parking spaces for the amount of students that bring up cars to campus.

4 College Freshman

Technology: Very reliable and fast in speed. Although one can't access the printer through one's own laptop through the wireless connection, one can easily print through the school's computers.

Local Area: Beautiful scenery of wineries. Nice atmosphere surrounded by nature. Air quality is great.

Academics: Some professors are not so skilled at teaching, although the class materials are nonetheless quite challenging. The workload is great, but manageable.

Academics: Pacific Union has a really well-defined and constructed pre-professional programs for dentistry, pharmacy, and medical. Hence, it offers a variety of classes that are very suitable for preparing students to further attend medical graduate schools in the future.

Weather: Generally, it is fair thru the year with some hot days as normal during summertime and some cold days as normal in winter season.

Transportation: Transportation is, expensive, and only in some seasons. Not transportation to nearer town or city but only to the airport.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: They are comfortable enough however since bathroom is not inside the dorm I live I won't rate the dorm not even an A minus.

4 College Junior

Academics: I like the academic program. It is definately not easy classes; however they seem to prepare the students well for the real world. The Teaching and Learning Center we have helps the studnets having difficulties, and students are generally very kind to help each other.

5 College Junior

Academics: I love my major which is Religion:emphasis in health. This is a cool combination i could not find anywhere else. This gives me a great opportunity to know both for my future goal: to be a medical missionary. The workload is not that easy, it is actually hard yet manageable-with science classes and religion classes. Facilities are not bad; I have no complaints. Job opportunities are not that great; most jobs are already taken. So it is good to know where to apply first and do so ahead of time.

Off-Campus Dining: There are good restuarants with good quality food and excellent taste-of course with student discounts. However, it is a bit pricey and the location is not close enough for students without cars. Best places to check out: Guini's sandwhiches, Gillwoods, Thai Restaurant, Checkers, ....

Off-Campus Housing: I would say living off campus is actually a good option. Since those people do not have to pay a certain amount of money to the caf each quarter and get much cheaper food, it is a great advantage. Also since the off campus houses are not too far away, the distance is not bad as well. The cost is not that expensive. And I think it is always not so difficult to find a place to live.

Party Scene: There is not much as far as bars and clubs. But the school is right in the heart of wine country so there is places near by that you can drive to. Nothing much like that for 18 and older.
