Campus Food: It Is Vegetarian – The food is good enough to survive and I like that it's almost always available for me to gorge myself but overall the food is sub par.

Guys & Girls: Most Beautiful School in America – Pacific Union College was given the honor by Newsweekly of being the most beautiful school setting wise and student wise. And I couldn't agree more.

Majors: Student Teaching – as a music teacher, it is part of the course to teach at a school, which can be a internship, it's unpaid, but it gives me a experiences of teaching

Transportation: Campus Buses Are the Best Option – the college bus is free (i think or maybe it's in the package for paying, i don't know). also, they are very nice to the students and if you have friends that can give you a ride, that's good too.

Administration: Good Strict College – i believe that the PUC is a good strictly college. All the students what are the rules that they need to follow

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Great Experience, Old Dorms – The dorms that are closet to campus are old, but they sure are fun. I wish they were a little newer for the guys.

4 College Junior

Campus Quality: The campus has a unique spirit of joyful people all progressing academically in their lives.

3 College Junior

Campus Quality: The facilities are fairly older, but they are doing a good job at progressively making improvements each year.

Health & Safety: Totally Safe – There is no campus crime that is ever even reported to my knowledge.

Party Scene: The Night Life – There are not really any school parties on the campus at all, but it's not too hard to find parties close by. The school is not too far from San Francisco also, which has plenty of nightlife oppurtunities.

Party Scene: On campus nightlife consists of vespers at the church, dinners at faculty homes, game night in the cafeteria, or classical music concernts. Off campus nightlife is at least an hour's drive away and most of what you'll want to do is forbidden by school rules anyway.

Campus Food: Vegetarian campus – I always enjoyed the food at the cafeteria, but I am a lifelong vegetarian. There is no meat available in the entire town. The local grocery store doesn't sell meat, alcohol or even caffeinated products. If you want a hamburger, you will have to drive 10 miles down a very windy, mountain road to get to an expensive restaurant down in St. Helena. By city ordinance, St. Helena has NO fast food joints except A&W which was allowed to stay in town because it has been there since the 1960s.

Greek Life: This is a conservative Christian school. There are no sororities or fraternites at PUC because they aren't allowed. If you want to live off-campus, you must obtain permission from the school and you will not be allowed to have opposite sex roommates. Also, you are required to attend regular religious services on campus. They take attendance and you get in trouble if you don't go to church enough. btw, church is on Saturday, not Sunday. If you like this and are interested in this religion, great...have a good time. It is a beautiful location. But do not think that this is a normal school. It is not even a normal Christian school.

Campus Quality: Unique Opportunities – Some of the things that make Pacific Union College unique is that it is located on the top of a mountain, and the nearest big city is about 30 minutes away. This allows students to form closer bonds with each other, and participate in more school events. The small size of the school body also allows the students to have more one on one interactions with professors, and more opportunities for internships. For example, film students have film equipment readily available to them to use for their projects or for class, unlike at larger universities. Another example is that PUC has it's own airport, which makes it easier for aviation students to fly daily, and makes it possible for students taking the Intro to Flight class to fly as part of their final exams.

Diversity: Pacific Union College is one of the most diverse schools in California and in the United States according to several sources. We have over 50 different nations represented at PUC.

Athletics: Good Supporting Cast – Pacific Union's College Athletics programs have a good fan support, but sometimes we lack school spirit. The fact that the school is located on top of a mountain helps keep students actively involved in sporting events, but we lack the cheerful spirit of to support our teams.

Diversity: Good Mix of Ethnicity – There is a good mix of ethnicity at PUC. We do not have racism going on around campus but sometimes little arguments can occur for no apparent reason.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Nice but Far Away. Since this school is on top of a hill, getting to the nearest off campus dining could take as less as 30 minutes. The cost is reasonable. Not too expensive and affordable. Food is good and much different than what is being served on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Ok but Repetitive – The food on campus is okay but sometimes it can become repetitive. The breakfast menu is the same thing everyday and they seem like they can't add more or change up the menu. The food is not bad but some variation would be nice.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Strictness Levels – This school can get strict especially with visitations in the dorm. Absolutely no males in the girl's rooms and no females in the boy's room. If caught, there will be severe punishments.

Overall Experience: It's Great – Overall, PUC is nice place. This being a destination campus, the view is is amazing. I love the friends I've made and my first experience living so far from home. The only thing is you really do need a car to get around because that could be hard. I learned to study a lot here and accept that I can't have straight A's like in high school anymore. But I'd choose this school again because I can call it my home.

Greek Life: There Is None. When I say PUC has no Greek life, I mean: I haven't seen a single ad for any fraternity or sorority. Anywhere. I think I'm ok with that; we don't need them, so we don't have them.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: I feel like a minority for being white. PUC has mostly Asian students, but from just about every country. There are also a lot of African-American and African students; there are a few people from Tonga and Samoa, and quite a few from Latin America. I only know one Canadian (though I'm sure there are more), and only three or four non-American white people...

Transportation: Not Much to Do – There is pretty much zero transportation on or around campus. For me that's ok, because I want to focus on schoolwork. And in reality, there's not much around to need transportation, anyways. I appreciate that there's not much going on around so that I can focus.

Campus Housing: What Is Your Focus? Some say that the freshman dorms at Pacific Union College are more undesirable than the upperclassman dorms, but they are my favorite! Two of the three girls' dorms share bathrooms between two paris of roommates, while the third has community bathrooms/showers, and all three of the men's dorms have community bathrooms/showers. The upperclassman dorms are rumored to be cleaner, and they don't have a curfew, but they are a considerable hike up the hill, which most students address by driving instead of walking up the stairs. The social atmosphere on campus is amazing! Students greet each other by name because in a school of only about 1500, it's hard to forget that guy who sits next to you in English class, since he's likely in three of your other classes! Cost of living in the Napa Valley is rather high, and it can cost more than normal to go out to eat. Plan for about $15 /person at least. There are hardly any restaurants within a half hour drive of the campus, but they are worth it! Dorms are available for all students, but off-campus housing is also available. Locals often rent out rooms to students, and the apartments nearby are also a good option.
