4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I took credits in high school that were through this college, and they transferred. But I believe that maybe one did not, if I remember correctly. Those credits taken in high school has saved me so much money and time because it put me ahead of where I needed to be. I am able to schedule my classes to where I am still able to work every night too, so that works out well.

Online Courses: I personally was not a fan of the online course that I had to take for part of the semester.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Every professor I have had, but one, was extremely nice and would do anything to help any student who asked for it. I love the class sizes for the most part, and the way the classes are taught are decent. Some are of course harder than others, but still manageable. The quality of the courses are well.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: From hearing experiences from others, the degrees are actually worth the time and are actually useful in getting a job, unlike other schools in town. I am counting on my degree to get me somewhere in life, and I would hate to have wasted money for three or four years to have nothing.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I am almost done with all of my classes to be able to get into the Nursing program, and so far, I think it is pretty good with leading up to being able to get into the program.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love the size of the campus and the size of all of the classes, even though a few classes may be bigger than others. I am one who prefers small classes, so it suits me well. The staff is friendly and always willing to help anybody out.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I've had a great experience so far. The teachers genuinely care for each student, and show it with each question they answer, and every time they go out of their way to make sure we understand what we are learning.

Online Courses: Online courses fit my schedule the best. I don't have to worry about traffic or babysitters. I can read and work in my lounge pants. But with online courses, there's a catch, They are more difficult than a regular classroom setting. You basically teach yourself. This requires a good hour plus of working on classwork each night.

Career Services: I'm not sure how to describe this. I plan on staying at my current job unless a door opens for me.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: With online classes, I never meet the instructor. But when I have questions or concerns, they email me back in a timely manner. I'm really happy with the response time.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: I have been at my current employer for 1I years. I am always looking to improve myself and finishing my degree is one important accomplishment.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I am just taking classes part time due to the hours I work and 4 kids at home. But I am hoping this will open doors for me in the future.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: After being out of school since 1997, I decided to come back and finish. My children are older and I can focus on Me. I am taking courses online. This is all new too me. It wasn't like this in the 90's. I chose online classes because it fit my schedule the best. I believe online courses are more difficult and you must stay focused. I am hoping to finish in 2016.

Academic Flexibility: Because of the school schedule I have I can schedule work around it. It works on the time I have my daughter as well.

4 College Senior

Career Services: I know that once I finish this class I will be able better myself in a career that I will be happy to work for. I will be able to have an actual career and not just an after school job.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: When I went my previous year people got along great and the teachers were understanding and helpful

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I like that the school is close to home. It's a community college so it's like a close nit community. I wish I had waited to do my first year until a few years after I graduated...going in right out of high school was too much for me and I wasn't focused enough like I should have been.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I didn't know how to apply for scholorships or for other schools in high-school. So i got what i could.

2 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The school treats students as numbers, and often fails to make classes and curriculum options flexible for students.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I really like that the classrooms and equipment (such as labs) are up to date, and advanced for a community college. I think this college is set apart from other community colleges by the constant drive to prepare students for further education. My favorite aspect of the college is small class size, help when you need it, and assistance with preparing students to transfer or for careers.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Some professors are absolutely amazing with great courses, and others are mediocre. The best thing to do before registering for classes is to talk to other students and gather some opinions on the best courses and professors.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: For the price of the tuition, I think the overall student experience here is decent. The biggest obstacle I've encountered is a lack of motivation amongst other students and even professors at times. I think the college does a very good job of helping students transfer to other colleges and universities and get jobs and internships. One disadvantage is that students and alumni aren't extremely connected beyond the classroom.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Realistically, this isn't a very diverse college. From my experience, most attending students are Christians, and with conservative political orientation. Most students are lower to middle class, and some diversity is well recieved, and other types of diversity aren't. Students of this college still struggle with acceptance of different sexual orientations, political beliefs, and religion.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I do not use financial aid, but I can say that the tuition is much cheaper than it would be at a university or four-year college. While I will be transferring soon, I am satisfied with the education I am receiving for the price.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: In my major, there is nothing the school does that is majors specific but the related classes. There are occasional recruiting sessions, but I feel like we aren't receiving the training we need to perform the job we are preparing for here.
