Tuition & Financial Aid: The value of education is worth the tuition paid for the most part.

Online Courses: My experience with online courses is you don't get that one on one with your teacher in class and the teacher isn't there to answer a question when you need it. The workload is different than traditional classroom because when they its due by a certain time you can't due it over.

Campus Resources: At OCTech of Orangeburg the overall grade for resources on campus is a B-. We have a nice size library with about 40 computers and lots of books, as well as a few computer labs. There is no gym or recreational buildings on campus.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I am receiving is well worth the tuition, which I can say that because I have never had to pay out of pocket. I have received life scholarship in 2011 but when I lost it, the financial aid counselors assured me not to worry, and sure enough I received federal pellet grant and sc lottery. The only thing I disagree with is cutting off financial aid for the summer. The staff did let it be known prior to receiving refund checks so we would know to save money. Overall I give an A because the counselors were very helpful in letting the students know what was required for financial aid if one was verified for financial aid.

Campus Resources: We have a Student Services- a place everyone hates going. I have seen campus activities increase, but geared more toward the new and young crowd. if there is an athletic center that would be new to me. And I never seem to know anything about what the café or cafeteria serves or the times they serve it.

Campus Resources: We have to Pay to print anything at this school. But what is not told, is that you have to get a print card and have money on it , to be able to print anything. This is something that needs to be told to new students. Also , there is wifi on campus, but nobody knows the password to get on it. That is also something the new students should know as well.

Campus Resources: The Math lab here is really helpful. The Helpers really try to go over a problem with you, so you can understand the steps that were taken to solve it. Which is great when your teachers doesn't have time for a one on one with you.

Online Courses: I love taking this math course on line. I can go to the lab for assistant if I need it or do it from my home computer. You can complete as many module you like. No teacher keeping you the hold class time.

Student Body: I known that If I can maintain a A average at 49, and working a full time job, with a teenage daugher who play volleyball. I know everyone attending should have a B average. The best thing is that all the teacher I have met have been the best.

Campus Resources: There are great resources for all aspects of a student's needs. You just have to look for them. Between the Tourville Lab, all of the offices in the B building and Student Services, you can find just about everything.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Very Affordable – The education that is received at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College is definitely worth the money that students pay for. This is exactly why I decided to go back for a second degree upon graduation of my first curriculum. Financial Aid assists with many of the occurring fees at OC-Tech and the balance left is very affordable. However, there are some instances where students have to pay completely out of pocket, and they still are able to see that their education was worth every cent in the end.

Online Courses: Easy Access – Many people fear online courses when signing up for them during the registration period. However, these turn out to be some of the most rewarding courses throughout the academic year. The students are able to easily access their teacher, each group (class) member, and their assignments if they decide to work ahead.Time management skills are the biggest issue when taking online courses. Once a student gets in the routine of checking their Campus Cruiser emails, announcements, and assignments, life becomes easier as an online student.
