4 College Junior

Health & Safety: It is definitely a safe campus, especially with the relatively low amount of people drinking, and little to no out of control parties or drug issues to worry about. There are very few safety issues as far as I know. As a general, unfortunate, common-sense rule, women should probably still avoid walking alone at night as much as possible, but on campus safety is something that is rarely worried about. Off campus, particularly at the nearest Walmart, is another matter.

Health & Safety: Our campus is a really safe place.

Health & Safety: There is a great deal of security procedures put in place at ORU. Student Life faculty including the Dean of Women and Dean of Men have been less than helpful in certain aspects including sexual assault allegations. There is counselling and addition help for those who request it but it must be sought out by the student.

Health & Safety: There is not a lot of campus crime, or at least none that I have heard of. There are multiple emergency buttons placed around the campus and many security guards that walk around our campus. Also, we have security guards stationed at both entrances into the school, and the guards check incoming cars to see if they are students. I feel safe on campus, I do not worry about walking alone.

Health & Safety: There are very few instances I have heard of anyone being in any sort of danger. We have a very safe campus and the administration, security and professors work hard to keep it that way.

Most students say they feel very secure on the ORU campus, as they should in a Christian, Bible-following atmosphere. There are not many reports at all of theft or any other crimes, really. And if anything remotely malevolent happens, it almost always stems from a group of students just looking for an adventure, which leads to somebody accidentally getting hurt in the process.

Public Safety officers are seen at least once on almost any trip to anywhere on campus. In fact, so little happens on campus in the way of crime that it seems like some members of the security force get so bored that they keep themselves busy by looking for cars parked in the wrong lots so they can write tickets.
