Drug Safety

{{ error }}
5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: As students we are required to sign an "Honor Code" that states that we will not participate in activities that include drugs/alcohol on or off campus. Of course there are some that do not adhere to this code while off campus, but there is zero tolerance while on campus.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: This school is quite harsh on alcohol and drug use on campus or off. This makes it barely seen on the campus. There have been some situations of drug and alcohol use in the dorms but they are punished severely. Off campus there are parties with alcohol and drugs present and there is little action taken on students who come back to campus drunk.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Drugs and alcohol are forbidden with the Honor Code, although some students still partake of them. But most don't. Students know how to have good, clean fun at ORU.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: If you don't want it you probably can't find it.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: There are like no drugs or alcohol on campus, since it's against the honor code. Some people do it of course, but not the majority.

Drugs and alcohol are virtually nonexistent at Oral Roberts University. All ORU students must sign an honor code that states that they will not use or even possess alcohol, drugs, or tobacco products, even if they are of-age. The faculty signs the same honor code. In terms of peer pressure, if anything, students here discourage others from drinking.

Of course, there are always going to be a few people who break the honor code, but overall, at ORU, there is a very miniscule population who is affiliated with illegal drugs, and very few, if any, even use marijuana.
