Things I Wish I Knew Before Coming To School
Even though ORU is a private Christian university, many students still have varying beliefs. Sometimes theological discussions get very heated between students based on different interpretations of the Bible. So know what you believe and why.
Interviews & Information Sessions
Eagle Days allow prospective students to customize their campus visit. In addition to an information session with an admissions counselor, students can attend a class, participate in any on-campus student activity, and go to chapel services. For more information, visit ORU's Admissions website.
Campus Tours
Prospective students can take a tour of campus with a Student Ambassador Monday through Friday, except during University breaks. While here for the tour, a student can also schedule other activities, including meeting with an admissions counselor, attending a class, or going to chapel.
Overnight Visits
College Weekend offers high school and transfer students the chance to stay on campus to learn what ORU is really like. Campus housing is available for unmarried students. For more information, visit In addition to year-round day visits, a prospective student can also spend the night any Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday during the fall or spring semester.
