Party Scene: I DO NOT party... EVER! I am more concerned with getting good grades so I can get into a study abroad program at Oxford.

Off-Campus Dining: I don't think there is a terribly big variety of restaurants, but I am only referring to the places right next to the campus. I don't like to drive very much, so I don't know what else is beyond the area next to the campus.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I live with my parents, so I have neither campus nor off-campus housing. As such, I do not know the answer to this question.

4 College Junior

Athletics: To be honest, it's not fun to be forced to log your level of exercise every week, but at least the school is concerned about the health of the students.

5 College Junior

Majors: Although I have yet to have an internship, the classes I am taking for my major are VERY difficult. As a result, I can be confident that I will have sufficient knowledge to operate property in a starting position of my field of study.

3 College Junior

Administration: While some people may view the rules to be a bit strict, at least it shows that the school cares about its students.

Off-Campus Dining: Many choices such as sonic, subway, first watch and Gyros.

5 College Freshman

Majors: I have not had an internship yet, but when I am ready to find one I have a lot of great resources available to me.

Health & Safety: This is a Christian school where everyone lives by a moral code. There is also campus security. So I don't worry about any danger from students. I feel very safe on campus.

Local Area: Tulsa is a large city with all kind of fun things to do. There are plenty of parks, some museums and galleries, plenty of shopping and the city doesn't have a very bad crime rate.

Administration: Our campus is very strict. You sign an honor code and they expect you to follow that honor code. There is no drinking, smoking, drugs, or sexual conduct allowed.

Scholarships: Our school is fantastic about getting students financial aid . There are lots of donations made to our school and those donations help give the majority of students scholarships. They will help you any way they can.

Athletics: At our school there is a pretty divided line between students who are athletes and students who are not. Because we don't have a football team there isn't a huge about of team spirit but we all still love the school. The athletic facilities are good for the size of school were are .

Diversity: Our school is a very diverse school. You will meet students from all over the world. Every day you will meet students from different countries and from different back grounds. Although, it's a christian school you will meet kids from lots of religious back grounds. There isn't very much diversity in sexual orientation though.

5 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: We have a very attractive school with smart students. Because it's a christian school the is very little use of substances such and alcohol and other drugs. Our students care about their bodies and making healthy decisions.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: It's wonderful I really enjoy all the teachers and students in my major. The workload is a lot and the books are crazy expensive but I really am doing something I love.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: The academics offered at my school are great the professors are all knowledgeable and caring. The registration could be made easier. It seems like there is a little disorganization in the registration office. The workload varies from each major but it usually the time of workload that would be expected for that major.

Majors: I'm not currently interning any where but I have several friends that have interns. I plan on getting an internship either this year or next and I have no concerns about getting one. I've already talked to the head of my department and he was able to get me several connections for possible internships.

Nearly everyone at ORU said that if they had to make their college decision all over again, they would still choose this university. Students give high marks to the strong Christian community here, and say that the professors and students are approachable, kind, and helpful. Another positive is the size of the school—it’s easy enough to get personal attention from the teachers, but the school is still large enough that you’ll regularly be able to meet lots of new, unique people.

Overall, Oral Roberts University is a great place for anyone who has a strong desire to become spiritually awake, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, professionally competent, and socially adept!
