3 College Senior

Campus Food: You Can Find Something You Like. There are always options, it may get repetitive after a year, but you will never be hungry.

5 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: Many Places to Visit – There are so many places to eat out because Tulsa is a college city. There are places to match everyone's style and mood.

4 College Senior

Parking: There is enough room to find parking, and reasonable locations for on-campus students and commuters.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: Process Could Be More Informative – I did receive a decent amount of Financial Aid, but there are many more opportunities you only hear about through other people when it is too late.

5 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: Many Delicious Food Places Close by – There are lots of food places right around campus. Sonic, taco bell, braums for fast food; Cheesecake Factory and other nice sit down restaurants close too.

4 College Senior

Scholarships: Many students have a full-ride. I know a lot of people there on scholarship. They try to work with you as best they can.

2 College Senior

Party Scene: There aren't very many opportunities to go out and party, but I know a few students who make to a couple clubs close to campus.

3 College Senior

Campus Food: Lots of Buffet Options, but Gets Old and Crowded – You can only eat in the cafeteria (4 meals/day) or the Chickfila or deli. But food outside the cafeteria is expensive.

Administration: Oral Roberts University is a Christian university so it tends to not be a party school. Each year, students are given the Honor Code to sign which states that the student is agreeing to not engage in getting drunk, drug use, or any sexual activity. If these rules are followed, your time at ORU is quite pleasant.

Technology: Computer Grade Level – The computers access that is provided at our school is very easily accessible. They are also very easy to work with and use. The fact that we get free wifi in our rooms is major blessing. Keep up the good work!

Athletics: OZONE Is Our School Spirit Group. Ozone is our spirit group. I had the opportunity to travel with the fan support this year to South Dakota. ORU paid and provided for us to go and watch our basketball team at the Summit League Tournament if we could miss class. The athletes at ORU are top-notch. Kevi Luper is very talented and has not only been playing for ORU but also women's USA team. The players and the fans are very close and have relationships with each other.

Overall ExperienceWhat's this?

Nearly everyone at ORU said that if they had to make their college decision all over again, they would still choose this university. Students give high marks to the strong Christian community here, and say that the professors and students are approachable, kind, and helpful. Another positive is the size of the school—it’s easy enough to get personal attention from the teachers, but the school is still large enough that you’ll regularly be able to meet lots of new, unique people.

Overall, Oral Roberts University is a great place for anyone who has a strong desire to become spiritually awake, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, professionally competent, and socially adept!
