5 College Freshman

Majors: I plan to get an internship in the engineering field in which I study. Since the department is smaller, I think the faculty will be more available to help in finding an internship with me.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: The men's basketball and baseball teams are very popular on campus due to their success. The baseball team has won 19 straight conference titles and the men's basketball team is also very successful.

5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: The guys are cool and very friendly and easy to hang with. They always offer to include you in any activities that they are doing. They are a blast, but still conscientious about their studies.

The girls are good looking, outgoing, and easy to talk to.

Guys & Girls: I can honestly say that you will find the highest quality and best people on the ORU campus. For the most part, the boys are all gentleman. As a girl on campus, I hardly ever have to open a door myself. Guys and girls are very good looking, dress nice, and are polite and respectful. GREAT PEOPLE!

Campus Food: SAGA (the cafeteria) is really a great place to eat. There are so many varieties and it is buffet style. A new building as about to open which will expand our food options!! ORU is great about encouraging students to eat healthy by having a couple of healthy snack shop. I would suggest not having too many meals on your meal plan. Depending on your schedule, you may not want to stop at SAGA for breakfast. Its easier to just grab something from a little shop on the way to class. Dining is great though!!

4 College Freshman

Technology: Computers are GREAT!! Printing is slow sometimes, and during finals the computers are crowded.

3 College Freshman

Weather: The weather is highly unpredictable. It constantly changes. So you have to be prepared for whatever the day brings.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty off-campus dining options that are fairly inexpensive. Conveniently ORU is near the many different restaurants and dining places. Many of the dining places give discounts to students which is also a plus.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: Plenty of options for the students, so that they can get a solid education.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: Food is good most of the time, it sometimes gets boring, repetitive or just old. We have Sodexo Bucks that we can use at the on campus restaurants such as Chick-Fil-A or coffee and smoothie shop. The variety is nice.

3 College Junior

Technology: They are all very up to date. They aren't too crowded. The systems work smoothly and we have WiFi all throughout our campus

Weather: The weather changes constantly. Sometimes the weather report will say one thing, and then it will be the complete opposite. It snows in winter, if it is enough snow, class will be cancelled. The summer months are very hot, and humid. Spring is beautiful, everyone is outside in the prayer gardens or just hanging out.

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: The nightlife is best for 21 year olds. And not those younger. A movie or two would be the best choice.

5 College Freshman

Transportation: The transportation is great. You can apply for the shuttle pick ups and if you have any specifications you can call them.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: the food is really good and the food, dining and payment system work really well for me.

Academics: The academic quality of the ORU Undergraduate Theology and Missions department is quite excellent. Our professors come from very diverse backgrounds and give an exceptionally diverse education. They are committed to equipping students to go on to graduate school as well as going into ministry.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: they're all different personalities here at ORU so it can be refreshing and a bit tiring at the same time

4 College Freshman

Academics: the academics are great here you get to learn a lot of stuff

4 College Freshman

Academics: they teach you alot here and they make sure you're prepared for your next step wherever that step leads

3 College Sophomore

Academics: The academics aren't particularly challenging and the general education classes tend to be a waste of time.

Guys & Girls: there's a lot of good looking people on campus. But chances are they are already taken or they are players. Good luck hunting for the rare ones.

Nearly everyone at ORU said that if they had to make their college decision all over again, they would still choose this university. Students give high marks to the strong Christian community here, and say that the professors and students are approachable, kind, and helpful. Another positive is the size of the school—it’s easy enough to get personal attention from the teachers, but the school is still large enough that you’ll regularly be able to meet lots of new, unique people.

Overall, Oral Roberts University is a great place for anyone who has a strong desire to become spiritually awake, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, professionally competent, and socially adept!
