2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The financial aid process for my first year was very smooth. The second year was a challenge to get answers to the questions that I asked. Approaching my third year and I find out two weeks before class is to start that I won't have enough money for tuition and none for books. It would have been most helpful to have known this earlier.

Majors: I did not have any difficulty with admissions or changing degree programs. My advisor has been most attentive and informative in guiding me through each process. It was appreciated by those in admissions that I had all the required documents.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: I like the curriculum that I am currently taking because it has allowed me to evaluate where I've been, assess where I am and set goals for where I want to be. Each course is more than book learning, its character building. The 'B' grade is because I am an online student which means the classes are accelerated with little to no interaction with other students and sometimes professors. It took some getting used to because I am over 50.

Off-Campus Housing: We are not allowed to live off campus. There are a lot of nice options around campus.

Campus Food: The food here is ok. The restaurants on campus are better.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: Going into the office is the best way to make sure everything is taken care of financially. They are really nice and understandable.

Weather: I personally think the weather is beautiful in Oklahoma, but if you're not from here the weather can seem unpredictable and bipolar at times, and also for out of towners could get sick, but for the most part its fun and nice. Tulsa has a little bit of every type of weather, except for hurricanes, so that's the adventurous part to it so to speak.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: Security is really good on campus, I feel safe because of the good jobs they've been doing, health not so much because the nurses office closes at around 5, and whenever somethings happens to me, as seldom as that is, I've 9 out of 10 times had to go to an out-side source doctor.

Technology: I computers are cool, especially the ones in the multi-media and art dept. the internet connection isn't all that great because it goes out randomly at random times but the IT dept. has been continuously working on that to improve the computer life, the library has plenty of computers for people to use, but its a lot better to have your own laptop!

Athletics: ORU's top sports are Basketball, Soccer, and Baseball. The games especially the Basketball games are very live, the energy is high, and the crowds are very fun! I lie attending the games with my friends for a fun study break or just a cool event to attend with my friends!

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: We don't have football, but ORU holds athletics very highly.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Very fickle and inconsistent. a day comes to mind where at noon it 70 degrees and sunny, however by nightfall it was hailing. It was like this all the time.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I am being taught by professors who are very knowledgable in their respective fields. Not only is the course material excellent, the school is smaller so I feel like I actually matter as opposed tp just being a face in a crowd.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus is very safe, security 24/7 and curfew.

4 College Freshman

Nearly everyone at ORU said that if they had to make their college decision all over again, they would still choose this university. Students give high marks to the strong Christian community here, and say that the professors and students are approachable, kind, and helpful. Another positive is the size of the school—it’s easy enough to get personal attention from the teachers, but the school is still large enough that you’ll regularly be able to meet lots of new, unique people.

Overall, Oral Roberts University is a great place for anyone who has a strong desire to become spiritually awake, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, professionally competent, and socially adept!
