4 College Freshman

Weather: Has not snowed this winter yet!!! but there is very cold weather (in comparison to Texas)

3 College Freshman

Administration: Policies are enforced and there are many rules but people are nice about it. If you follow the rules it's no big deal

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: Love the mission of the school! But I feel there is a little more hype than necessary

Weather: I liked it because it was warmer than Michigan. Not a lot of snow at the time which I liked. I like the hot. They do have thunderstorms and tornados but I did not really effect us. Black Ice was different for me. However, I liked variety of climates that they had. It was intriguing.

Athletics: Oklahoma has team spirit because they love college and high school sports. I loved going to the games as a student and many of our peers. It was always a great experience.

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: The off-campus dining is great. There are multiple options offered to the students. Tasty and healthy option are of great abundance.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I didn't have any difficulties getting into my major. The most important criteria is that you have a calling to hear God's voice. Just follow God and follow His will.

4 College Sophomore

Transportation: They provide all the resources needed for the students. Very helpful and convienent.

5 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: The shuttles on campus faithfully arrives on time.

5 Recent Alumnus

Guys & Girls: The students are expected to be and look exceptional.

4 Recent Alumnus

Parking: There is a cost for parking, but it is reasonable.

5 Recent Alumnus

Drug Safety: Drugs are not allowed to be used on campus at all.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: very well enforced. only pay one $50 dollar fee at beginning of the year and it comes out of your student account. lots of parking spaces. Spaces not far from classes.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: they are a bit old, but are still great and function almost like brand new. Aslo opening a new building in Feb.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: It is a strict conservative school, but it is a beautifully diverse school with students from at least 60 different countries. It's on the expensive side, but the education is great and the campus is beautiful.

1 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: You aren't allowed to live on campus unless you are over the age of 25

2 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Most of the boys are afraid to talk to girls here.

Guys & Girls: Multi racial and cultural environment where you get to see and experience different styles as well.

5 College Freshman

Administration: I think the strictness is great! Adminastration does not put up with drugs or alcohol. If you are out of dress code, someone may something. But the staff always does it is a kind and respectful way!

5 College Freshman

Transportation: The transportation is very good. You can call a number and someone will pick you up when you are traveling back and forth to school.

4 College Junior

Majors: I love my major, International Business, but it is probably the easiest in the business college. If you are looking for something more in depth I would suggest a more specific major like finance or marketing. There are lots of great opportunities in the business college though.

3 College Junior

Parking: The parking lots can seem far, but in relation to other schools they are great! The permit costs $50 a year, so not bad. They give lots of tickets though, so park in the right lot.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: The campus is right next to a very sketchy walmart, but we almost never have problems. Sometimes there is petty theft in the dorms, but otherwise it's pretty great.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: ORU tends to be really great about working with their students to make it possible for them to come back. Sometimes the process involves a great deal of work though.

4 College Junior

Academics: I love the Multimedia program at ORU. I have learned so much, I started out with little to no knowledge of most of the curriculum and am able to do video, audio, graphics and many other things. The hands on experience is amazing because we get to use equipment that we would use at a job. They have a multimillion dollar studio that we are able to use and practice our craft in. The best part about it is the fact that when I graduate I will be able to do a variety of things rather than just one area.

Nearly everyone at ORU said that if they had to make their college decision all over again, they would still choose this university. Students give high marks to the strong Christian community here, and say that the professors and students are approachable, kind, and helpful. Another positive is the size of the school—it’s easy enough to get personal attention from the teachers, but the school is still large enough that you’ll regularly be able to meet lots of new, unique people.

Overall, Oral Roberts University is a great place for anyone who has a strong desire to become spiritually awake, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, professionally competent, and socially adept!
