4 College Junior

Drug Safety: If you don't want it you probably can't find it.

Party Scene: We have a good time and remember it.

3 College Junior

Parking: Plenty off parking, but not close enough to dorm

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: It has changed my life for better

3 College Junior

Athletics: The athlete student connection is improving

4 College Junior

Administration: It's how I would live my life off campus

4 College Junior

Academics: The professors are wonderful and the push us.

4 College Junior

Diversity: There can always be more diversity.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I can not whether has been either good nor bad

4 College Freshman

Academics: College is a lot harder than I thought coming into it, but its totally understandable. It wouldn't be college if it didn't prepare us for the future. I love how the professors and staff incorporate Jesus into all that they do, for instance praying over class before we begin.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of restaurants of lots of different cuisines to keep your palate interested. Some of the food might cost you, but it's definitely worth the price.

Campus Housing: So much to say... Towers and Gabby are the nicest, most spacious dorms. Claudius is a great, social dorm for girls. EMR is AWFUL!!! I made a mistake living here this year. It's like living in a musty, nasty locker room with matching meatheads. If you want to live where guys throw eggs and mashed potatoes down your own hall, twerk naked, and throw microwaves out of windows, then live in EMR.

Majors: ORU has a pretty good selection of majors. They do lack in some things like Women's Studies, but there are better schools for that kind of education. They also lack some common sense majors, like economics, which I think they're working on.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: Being a marketing major is pretty run-of-the-mill stuff. ORU's education isn't anything special; all they do is add prayer and a Christian perspective.

3 College Sophomore

Local Area: Tulsa has malls, restaurants, and movie theatres galore. You're not stranded when you come here; however, Tulsa as a city is pretty dull. Everything closes really early around here.

1 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Since students aren't allowed to live off-campus, I can't really say anything about it. However, there is a lot of cheap housing available near ORU, and it's way cheaper than living on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: There are a lot of international students here, more than a typical Christian university but less than a school like Harvard. However, there isn't lot of religious or sexual diversity here given the Christian values upon which ORU was founded.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: ORU is not a rigorous school. Hard classes here will be hard if not harder at any other credible university. There is a lack of academic focus on campus, and some students' abilities in class reflect the 65% acceptance rate. If you want an academically challenging university, ORU is not for you.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: ORU is extremely safe. It's in a safe part of Tulsa, and there is little alcohol to mix thing sup. Crime or assault on campus is zero to none.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Varsity sports here are underappreciated. That being said, fitness is a huge priority at ORU. The Aerobics Center is well-kept since students use it constantly.

3 College Sophomore

Technology: The wireless internet here is pretty spotty. It's really obnoxious when you actually need it to do schoolwork. Everything else is OK. There are labs and computers available to all students. The printing prices are kind of expensive, though...

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: There are like no drugs or alcohol on campus, since it's against the honor code. Some people do it of course, but not the majority.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: Campus transportation is free while taxi's cost.

1 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: You are allowed to commute if you live close by.

3 College Freshman

Administration: The girls can't be in the guy's dorms and we have curfew.

Nearly everyone at ORU said that if they had to make their college decision all over again, they would still choose this university. Students give high marks to the strong Christian community here, and say that the professors and students are approachable, kind, and helpful. Another positive is the size of the school—it’s easy enough to get personal attention from the teachers, but the school is still large enough that you’ll regularly be able to meet lots of new, unique people.

Overall, Oral Roberts University is a great place for anyone who has a strong desire to become spiritually awake, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, professionally competent, and socially adept!
