Guys & Girls: The students have an all around taste. There's a bit of every style there

4 College Sophomore

Technology: The all amount technology on the campus is wonderful.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Athletics are very popular and apart of campus life.

4 College Sophomore

Transportation: Our shuttles have helped me a lot during the holidays

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: You can choose your own meal plan. You can either choose a meal plan to just eat in the café, or eat both in the café and other restaurants on and off the campus.

4 College Sophomore

Technology: Pretty great - wireless is much better now. Lots of labs too if you know where to find them.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: Pretty great! Profs. are awesome and classes are great!

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Lots of great aid if you qualify (gpa, etc.) for "whole person" or honors.

2 College Sophomore

Weather: TOO hot in the summer! And there's tornadoes! And it's humid and muggy a lot in the summer too. Winter isn't bad - sometimes there's even snow days!

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Very strict but many come to ORU for that reason. If you want to party in college, go somewhere else. ORU's all 'bout that Honor Code.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Pretty great! Lots of diversity and range of prices. Something for everyone.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The aerobic center is pretty great but it's kinda far from the dorms. Being physically active is a huge part of ORU life.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: Bus stop out in front of school and some students utilize taxis which will pick up in upper lot. Transportation from airport and bus station are provided around break times and to certain school activities, but mostly it's provide your own.

3 College Sophomore

Local Area: Tulsa is pretty great if you love the midwest life, but it's not really my thing. Not much happens after about 10pm.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: Very diverse -- lots of international students and students from lots of different backgrounds. Most students are very welcoming and accepting of diversity.

1 College Sophomore

Party Scene: No nightlife unless you include hanging with your friends in your room watching netflix. Some people go off campus but because of the strictness it has no nightlife.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Drugs and alcohol are forbidden with the Honor Code, although some students still partake of them. But most don't. Students know how to have good, clean fun at ORU.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Overall pretty great, although it would be awesome if upperclassmen could live off campus to save some $$. Housing is expensive!

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Although I've never used the student health services, I hear they are mediocre.

Security is helpful.

Overall pretty great.

4 College Junior

Technology: wireless access is getting better

3 College Junior

Local Area: It's not home, but it's close to it

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: Security wouldn't do much, but it's a safe campus

Nearly everyone at ORU said that if they had to make their college decision all over again, they would still choose this university. Students give high marks to the strong Christian community here, and say that the professors and students are approachable, kind, and helpful. Another positive is the size of the school—it’s easy enough to get personal attention from the teachers, but the school is still large enough that you’ll regularly be able to meet lots of new, unique people.

Overall, Oral Roberts University is a great place for anyone who has a strong desire to become spiritually awake, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, professionally competent, and socially adept!
