Campus Quality: I honestly don't think there is anything that I would dislike about Oral Roberts University. The student center is awesome for students to go and hang out, the libraries is perfect when it comes to studying, that is where I spend most of my time! Campus events are amusing and traditions are hilarious. Students always hangout around campus, whether is playing sports outside with one another or getting together in the student center to watch a movie. The buildings around campus are beautiful, I've never seen anything like them until I moved here, they are very unique compared to other universities.

Athletics: ORAL ROBERTS UNIVERSITY games are THE BEST!! We go crazy in supporting our team! It is amazing to see so many students support their team, especially our basketball team. They are our main people, the basketball games go wild and crazy yet super fun and safe.

Local Area: Around our campus, there are various activities you can do with your friends on the weekends. We have the mall and movie theater a few blocks away. Their are cultural events that take place at a park near by and it gets very fun with live music/food/games and different people you can meet. The people around here are super friendly and nice, there is always someone around to make you smile just by saying hello. There is always something going on everyday here in Tulsa, whether it's a football game, baseball game, a running event, the state fair etc.

Weather: Oklahoma is known for its tornados, but thankfully the area around ORU has never been affected by them. The weather is very nice here, the cold is right around the corner and people are starting to take out their winter clothes. It is a very family/friendly fun place to be. We have never been affected by natural disasters and we pray that we never are! It is such a nice place to be at, I would recommend Tulsa to anyone who wants to get a nice kick from the cold as well as the beautiful leaves that are coming down now in the Fall!

Drug Safety: Since Oral Roberts University is a Christian private school, you are not allowed to drink or do drugs. There is an Honor Code that we sign at the beginning of the year stating that we will not take part in these actions. Being a Christian university, there is a minimal amount of students who are the "bad' ones, but you will never see drugs or alcohol visible anywhere on campus. It is an amazing environment where there is no peer pressure at all! The campus policy for drugs and alcohol is strongly enforced, if you are caught you will automatically be taken out of the school because you signed an Honor Code promising to not take part of this.

Technology: Oral Roberts University has a variety of room with computers available for students. The computer labs are very useful for students who do not have laptops. Students are also able to print from the computer labs at only 10 cents a page which is a very good price. The network reliability and speed are excellent, I've never had trouble with any of the computer networks, they are high speed and never frustrate a student. If you need to use the computer labs for your own personal use you can do so, the school is very flexible with what you can do on the computers. It is an excellent environment being inside the computer labs, they are always peaceful, quiet, and very soothing!!

Nearly everyone at ORU said that if they had to make their college decision all over again, they would still choose this university. Students give high marks to the strong Christian community here, and say that the professors and students are approachable, kind, and helpful. Another positive is the size of the school—it’s easy enough to get personal attention from the teachers, but the school is still large enough that you’ll regularly be able to meet lots of new, unique people.

Overall, Oral Roberts University is a great place for anyone who has a strong desire to become spiritually awake, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, professionally competent, and socially adept!
