Parking: ONLY ISSUE WITH PARKING IS THAT THE MAIN PARKING LOT IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL OF WHERE THE ACTUAL CAMPUS SITS. SO PREPARE YOURSELF FOR A LITTLE CLIMB!

Scholarships: THE FINANCIAL AID PROCESS IS VERY GOOD. THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY HELPFUL. I ONLY WISH THEY COULD PROVIDE A DATABASE OF WHERE STUDENTS CAN APPLY OR LOOK UP CREDIBLE SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS RESOURCES.

Off-Campus Dining: TULSA HAS A WIDE VARIETY OF EATERIES AT REASONABLE PRICES.

Local Area: iT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR...TULSA IS A MID-TO-SLOW SPEED CITY...NOT FAST AND NOT AT A CRAWL EITHER. IT HAS EVERYTHING A BIG CITY HAS EXCEPT THE PEOPLE AND LOADS OF TRAFFIC. THE ATMOSPHERE IS CALM AND IT HAS A SMALL TOWN FEEL.

Majors: The majors are good, but the School of Business is the only one that is worthwhile.

Campus Quality: Most of the people are friendly and sociable.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: It is nicely structured until you go downstairs.

Overall Experience: While it is not the best school (except for the school of business), it is a great atmosphere for Christians to go to school.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There's nothing special or interesting but it gets the job done.

Health & Safety: I feel very safe on campus. I have never felt at risk or in danger. My health is not in question and ORU looks out for their students fantastically.

Greek Life: There is no Greek life on ORU's campus. There are no fraternities or sororities and ethnic Greek students are not treated any differently.

Campus Housing: Campus life is great and students make the atmosphere lively. The cost is a bit much, but students still pay it, so clearly it is not a big issue. Students love living on campus.

Nearly everyone at ORU said that if they had to make their college decision all over again, they would still choose this university. Students give high marks to the strong Christian community here, and say that the professors and students are approachable, kind, and helpful. Another positive is the size of the school—it’s easy enough to get personal attention from the teachers, but the school is still large enough that you’ll regularly be able to meet lots of new, unique people.

Overall, Oral Roberts University is a great place for anyone who has a strong desire to become spiritually awake, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, professionally competent, and socially adept!
