Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of options for off campus dining. However, it helps if you have transportation and know someone who is familiar with the area. Thankfully, I have some friends who know where several smaller restaurants are that serve more authentic food from other cultures.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: They provide plenty of scholarships for students. However, I wish they could post more information about outside scholarships.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: It feels very safe on campus. Not only does the religious environment of the campus ease the minds of students, but we also have a moat around the campus. (That moat was not intentional; the river was just getting too big, so the city of Tulsa had to renovate all areas where the river was flowing.)

3 College Junior

Local Area: Tulsa is a fairly safe city, but there are a few drawbacks that make me want to live elsewhere.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: I DO NOT party... EVER! I am more concerned with getting good grades so I can get into a study abroad program at Oxford.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I don't think there is a terribly big variety of restaurants, but I am only referring to the places right next to the campus. I don't like to drive very much, so I don't know what else is beyond the area next to the campus.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I live with my parents, so I have neither campus nor off-campus housing. As such, I do not know the answer to this question.

4 College Junior

Athletics: To be honest, it's not fun to be forced to log your level of exercise every week, but at least the school is concerned about the health of the students.

5 College Junior

Majors: Although I have yet to have an internship, the classes I am taking for my major are VERY difficult. As a result, I can be confident that I will have sufficient knowledge to operate property in a starting position of my field of study.

3 College Junior

Administration: While some people may view the rules to be a bit strict, at least it shows that the school cares about its students.

4 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: Many choices such as sonic, subway, first watch and Gyros.

5 College Freshman

Majors: I have not had an internship yet, but when I am ready to find one I have a lot of great resources available to me.

Health & Safety: This is a Christian school where everyone lives by a moral code. There is also campus security. So I don't worry about any danger from students. I feel very safe on campus.

Local Area: Tulsa is a large city with all kind of fun things to do. There are plenty of parks, some museums and galleries, plenty of shopping and the city doesn't have a very bad crime rate.

Scholarships: Our school is fantastic about getting students financial aid . There are lots of donations made to our school and those donations help give the majority of students scholarships. They will help you any way they can.

Athletics: At our school there is a pretty divided line between students who are athletes and students who are not. Because we don't have a football team there isn't a huge about of team spirit but we all still love the school. The athletic facilities are good for the size of school were are .

Diversity: Our school is a very diverse school. You will meet students from all over the world. Every day you will meet students from different countries and from different back grounds. Although, it's a christian school you will meet kids from lots of religious back grounds. There isn't very much diversity in sexual orientation though.

Nearly everyone at ORU said that if they had to make their college decision all over again, they would still choose this university. Students give high marks to the strong Christian community here, and say that the professors and students are approachable, kind, and helpful. Another positive is the size of the school—it’s easy enough to get personal attention from the teachers, but the school is still large enough that you’ll regularly be able to meet lots of new, unique people.

Overall, Oral Roberts University is a great place for anyone who has a strong desire to become spiritually awake, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, professionally competent, and socially adept!
