Online Courses

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I did some online courses and realized its better interaction in a classroom setting. Though I have two children so working from home was so much more convenient for me. I didn't have to pay for daycare and you could always e mail the instructor and for the most part they got back to you right away. It is a bit difficult when you don't understand something and have to write down your question and wait for an answer to continue your studies. Than again the ability to stay home makes online courses rock.

Online Courses: For the most part the online courses were great. Some were better then others. My favorite online courses were by my adviser. He took class videos so you had the lecture from home. Then you could email him questions and do the assignments then submit them. It was pretty much like on demand lecture. The next best ones might have some videos, some reading sections, assignments, and online discussion. I feel the online discussion really helped to make things clear as well as help to ingteract with others. Also getting good teacher and classmate feedback made it a great learning experience. The worst one would be the ones where there was no real feed back from the teacher just assignments being submitted then getting a grade. It was hard to know what was expected and where you needed to improve.

Online Courses: I enjoyed my on-line courses the work-load was heavier but it was fun and convenient.

1 College Senior

Online Courses: It is a horrible selection for classes, and the software and programs are not user-friendly.
