4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: They tell you from the start that they have a high rating in this category. I believe that this is true and this school will help me to get a job when I graduate.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel very safe on campus. Mostly because of everyone has about the same religious background, no Greek life, and complete intolerance of alcohol or drugs. There things keep the campus a safe place to be.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I chose not to live on campus, but housing seemed average. Campus life however, is very lively and fun, from what I can tell.

5 College Freshman

Greek Life: There is no Greek life.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Intramural sports are highly encouraged and varsity sports are not the only thing the school is focused on.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: This school is unique in that everyone is focused on the same things: an education and furthering their relationship with God. This atmosphere is very welcoming! From freshman orientation I knew this school was where I needed to be. The professors are very good with students and really care about their success.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The housing depending on where you are able to stay is nice. Some of the apartments are much nicer than others.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: There is no Greek life on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: The sports teams aren't that good, there are some teams that are very good, but people at school don't attend sporting events regularly.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It is a great school to go to where you feel at home. The only issue is the same at any school there will always be the troublemaker students that like to cause issues for other. Other than that it is a great place to be.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love the class size, and the teachers are really accessible and I am always able to ask one-on-one questions if I need to.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have not personally really looked into career placement in my field yet. I do have friends that have easily been able to find internships through the student success center!

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: I can call public safety at any time of the day if I don't feel safe! They also give you a ride back to your place if you don't feel comfortable walking.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: I love the campus apartments. You get your own space and are also given a little room to breathe, unlike in the dorms. The RA's in the dorms are constantly in your space and checking up on you. I like the apartments because I finally feel like an adult.

2 College Junior

Greek Life: I really wish that ONU participated in fraternities and sororities. I think it would give students a feeling of "togetherness" it is super unfortunate that we don't have that. The RA's in the dorms try to make it seem like the girls on the floor were in a little group which is kind of like a sorority!

3 College Junior

Athletics: I personally do not play any sports. The workout center and pool/hottubs are super clean and up to date. Because it is so small, I almost never have to wait in line to use the workout machines. The hours could be a little longer so that students with full schedules of work and school could go late.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: This school is nice because of the size. Professors are easily accessible and for the most part helpful. Be ready to pick up a Bible and truly learn from it. It is nice, but if that is not your thing it will be sort of difficult to feel like you belong here.

5 Recent Alumnus

Health & Safety: Olivet's Public Safety department patrols the campus regularly and has security cameras placed in many places on campus. They send out emails and texts to everyone if a crime has been reported. This campus is very safe, located in the city part of a small town, out in the open to walk in. Very little crimes have occurred in the 4 years I spent at Olivet. We don't allow students to use alcohol on or off campus, so that helps significantly reduce reckless behavior and crime.

4 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: This school has many job/internship/career resources and resume help. They hold a variety of events throughout the school year to hook students up with opportunities. The staff at the Center for Student Success is very helpful and useful in this area. You just need to be willing to take advantage of the opportunities and the offers presented to you, even if it's not exactly what you are hoping for.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Housing: The dorms are older, so they could use more electrical outlets in the rooms and cosmetic remodeling. The rooms are pretty small, but plenty of closet space. They are also closer to dining places and academic buildings. The campus apartments are more comfortable and homey-feeling, but more than two roommates are required, and they are further away from campus to walk to get to class.

3 Recent Alumnus

Athletics: Football team isn't very good. They do have a good swim team and basketball teams.

4 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Great place to make quality friendships that last for the rest of your life, have fun and make memories , and grow in Christ.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The school is pretty safe. There is someone always available when you request for help.

2 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The proximity of the class is the one of the good things about this school doesn't take a long walk to reach your class. The dorm life sucks curfew at 11.

1 College Freshman

Greek Life: There is no Greek life at this school. The closest thing to Greek life here might be the Bible studies.
