4 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek life is great on campus. Everyone is very supportive of each other.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: I think they are good, but I do not attend any sporting events.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: The further you are from campus the nicer the housing gets. Campus is not in the best area of the city, so nice housing is a bit of a drive.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of restaurants to choose from off campus, for any time of the day and night.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: The administration does not ask too much of you, I would assume it is the norm for other schools, too.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I am not eligible for a lot of scholarships although my parents need help putting me through school.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Greek life hosts social parties for their members. These include Bid Day, Victory, Formals, etc.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: I am vegan, so it is hard to rate the food options on campus. I do not eat in the cafeteria very often.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: My campus has the most expensive housing for the state of Oklahoma. The dormitory I live in is okay. The rooms are not cleaned by professionals before you move in, and I think that should be something the school looks into in order to keep the dorms nice. The rooms are spacious and have good closet sizes. The wifi is bad, but the school is working to improve this. Maintenance comes in a fairly timely manor. Any dormitory that you choose to live in will provide a less than 10 minute walk to any class. The housing process, known as the "Housing Draft", is not the best.

Overall Experience: I'm not allowed to get a work-study even though my family could use more help paying for my education

2 College Freshman

Administration: The wifi is never reliable

2 College Freshman

Campus Food: The caf does not have good options a majority of the time

5 College Freshman

Greek Life: im in fiji and I'm very happy with the experience

3 College Freshman

Athletics: i haven't been to any event

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: i don't live of campus

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: a lot of local options

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: some things happened with the music scholarship

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: most parties are mild and nonalcoholic

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I understand that they are giving out all that they can, but I wish I had more money.

College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live off campus and most students don't because it is inconvenient to do so.

3 College Junior

Local Area: I love being in the heart of OKC. That being said, really the only thing to do their is eat or go to a thunder game. Not that I don't love those things, but it can get expensive.

2 College Junior

Athletics: The athletic facilities on this campus aren't very good. However, I'm ok with that because no one really goes to OCU for athletics anyway. The school knows what their students are interested in (primarily performing arts) and they keep those facilities in perfect shape.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The Oklahoma City area has a plethora of wonderful food options. However, a lot of them are kind of expensive for a college student. They aren't a lot of chains around which is nice. Pretty much every local place that I have been to, I've loved. It's nice to get a lot of variety in options.

College Freshman

Party Scene: I would rather not answer.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I got good scholarships for my GPA/test scores and my talent/major, but it was definitely not enough to cover my college expenses well. OCU is crazy expensive, and the only reason it's somewhat worth the money is that the music and theatre programs are great. Everything else seems like I'm spending too much money for what I'm receiving. Getting back on subject, my family is not considered in "financial need" but by no means is my college tuition covered. I'm not eligible for almost all work study, and I was only offered unsubsidized loans through my FAFSA.
