4 College Junior

Scholarships: I had the opportunity to get the Christian Engineering Scholarship. It's a great scholarship; it paid for 30% of my tuition Freshman year and 60% my sophomore year. The scholarship is paying for all of my tuition these last two years.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: You have to work hard to get your financial aid, and its hard if its just you doing it and not your parents.

1 College Freshman

Scholarships: I wasn't given much information and my question weren't answered thoroughly. I wish that they had been more clear since I was doing it all on my own without help of my mom

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I did not apply for FAFSA because my family and I knew I wouldn't qualify for any financial aide do to my parents high income. I would only qualify for academic loans

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The financial aid I received was helpful, but I have run into a road block in the sense that I come from a family of five children, where my parents make enough according to the government that I don't qualify for a lot of need-based aid, even though most of what my parents make goes into the cost of living and maintaining a house with four children still at home. My advice would be to apply early for finical aid, and to apply for any and all scholarships you qualify for.
