College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live off campus so I am not all that sure about off campus housing, but from what I hear, we have pretty good options.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Off-campus dining is very convenient. There's a lot of fast food restaurants but also plenty of sit down restaurants. Student discounts are often offered.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Campus is really strict on dorm visitation. it's often annoying to have to frequently check in and out of the dorms instead of just being able to enter and leave out a convenient side door. Parking tickets are given a lot too and they're expensive.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: OBU doesn't offer that many scholarships. I have an academic scholarship and an athletic scholarship but other than that there's not a lot of options unless they are major specific.

College Sophomore

Party Scene: I don't really party so I don't know where the best parties would be located.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: The cafeteria just got remodeled so it is very nice on the inside. There is also a grill and a chick-fil-a that are not part of the cafeteria that are different options that are decent. The cafeteria has a variety of food each day but they always have a salad, sandwich, hamburger, and pizza bar.

Campus Housing: It's awesome on campus! The dorms host activities for the residents and there's always something going on to get involved in. The cost is decent for the dorms and the dorms are close to all classes.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live off campus.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Too many duplicates of restaurants. 6 sonics and about 4 braums. There's no need for all that.

1 College Junior

Administration: Can't have visitors unless in the specific time given.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I've had some diffculties but eventually got through them.

2 College Junior

Party Scene: I never hear about parties except the one with dj two bowls or whoever that is. I mostly just have small get togethers.

4 College Junior

Campus Food: I think they give us multiple choices and most of the time it's good quality food.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Honestly the rules are ridiculously strict. Boys feet must be on the ground at all times? We aren't kids anymore and that makes it seem as of the feet aren't on the ground we're doing inappropriate things. However, the location of most housing is efficient for commuting to classes.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Off-campus housing is great. However, OBU students are not allowed to live off campus. It is a very frustrating process because on-campus housing is so expensive.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There is lots of restaurants in Shawnee. However, most are fast food.

3 College Freshman

Administration: The campus strictness is okay. In some ways in the dorm RA's are very lenient. However, when it comes to parking the campus police will ALWAYS ticket you.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: The financial aid office at OBU is very frustrating. They can not get their bills to match up. In one bill I will owe nothing and then in another bill I owe over a $1,000. That is a very big mistake. If you do not stay on top of your bills at OBU they will take more money from you then you owe.

College Freshman

Party Scene: I have honestly never gone to a party. Personally I like to hang out with my friends in a more casual setting. I have no idea where the best parties happen.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The cafeteria is alright. However, some days the food is really awful. There does seem to be some variety. It would be nice if students had a way to know what was being served before we had to swipe and use a meal. Maybe an online menu?

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Living on campus is a fun opportunity. However, it is incredibly overpriced. Due to OBU's rules there is no way to life off campus until your senior year. This is a huge negative fore me and for other students.

1 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: OBU won't let students live off campus.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Pretty typical restaurants in Shawnee

3 College Freshman

Administration: Again, way too many unnecessary rules. They treat us like high schoolers.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Not many scholarships are offered here.
