Parking: Parking on campus is terrible and very expensive to say the least.

Athletics: Athletic facilities and athletics at OSU are one of my favorite parts of the school.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: The best places are at the union, Oxleys, Mirror Lake Creamery, and south campus. Avoid North Campus options.

Local Area: Columbus is a city I would very much like to spend the rest of my life after graduating.

Majors: The most important criteria is your GPA, if it's high you are guaranteed into your program.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I enjoy it, the workload can be very difficult but there are unlimited opportunities.

Academics: I am in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at OSU. It is very intensive and busy but interesting and doable, even for someone like me who also has a full time job.

Academics: I have had some excellent professors in my graduate nursing program. Many classes can be taken online also, so its very easy to access. Workload is heavy but doable, and faculty is very willing to help in any way they can.

Parking: Ok parking is terrible. But if you can find somewhere to park your vehicle, you really don't need to move it unless you're leaving town for the weekend, because there is plenty of campus/public transportation.

5 College Junior

Diversity: This campus is incredibly diverse. I have friends from all walks of life and they are great people; no one judges eachother for their beliefs.

Greek Life: I am not personally involved in Greek life, but it has a pretty big presence on campus. No one looks down on you one way or the other.

There is a reason the Buckeye Nation is considered to be so devoted; an overwhelming love for OSU is evident in student responses, and in the loyalty of alumni to their alma mater. Each person has his or her own reasons for loving the University, and there are quite a few of them. Some students feel that the academics are top-notch and have found exactly the programs they wanted; others lean toward the athletic success of the Buckeye teams, while some just feel that the friendships and bonds they have made are enough to make their tenure at OSU worthwhile. At any rate, everyone can agree that being a Buckeye creates a special bond between you and nearly 50,000 other students, which you will carry with you for the rest of your life.

Once you get past the sheer size of the University, it will really become a second home. After only a quarter of classes, you won't be able to cross the Oval without seeing someone you know. Ohio State is truly the smallest large university you will find. The people are known for their friendly attitudes, and alumni are scattered across the nation. If you choose to go to OSU, you're choosing a school with a name that's well known, both in the workplace and in the college community. Few students ever regret their time at Ohio State, and most consider their college experience to be among the best offered in the Big Ten and the country.
