Off-Campus Housing: I have a great apartment.

Off-Campus Dining: I love eating at different places on high street. One of my personal favorite places in late night slice.

Scholarships: Apply to as many scholarships as possible! You don't have to pay those back!

Campus Food: There are so many different places to go around campus that there is nothing to complain about. My personal favorite places to go are Chipotle and Panera.

3 College Student

Off-Campus Housing: It's really convenient especially since It's basically required

4 College Student

Party Scene: Too much sexual assault. Too much rape. That's the only bad thing about parties

Off-Campus Dining: I've always been a fan of chains so I really couldn't complain

4 College Student

Administration: they're better than schlissel I'll tell you that much

5 College Student

Scholarships: It was pretty easy to apply the scholarships I received

3 College Student

Campus Food: I like how close dining halls are to my classes, but that's just me

3 College Student

Campus Housing: It's really easy to meet new people and make new friends. Once you get used to living in a small room it's not so hard, but it's hard to keep up with organizing and cleaning

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: Not much of a partier but the parties are good

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: High Street has everything you need

4 College Freshman

Administration: Had the best RA last year. Cool and not too strict

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: First year smooth, upcoming year will be a hassle

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: I like the variety. Mirror Lake is my favorite!

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Room size was not a problem, building was clean

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Next year will be the first year I live off campus so I can't speak to it all that much but I started looking for an apartment fairly late and I still found a spacious, close townhouse at a reasonable price.

5 College Freshman

Party Scene: Any given night - especially once the weather is warm - Greek Row will be loud and parties will be happening. Many people start their weekend on Thursday night and if you really wanted to, there's stuff to do every night of the week. Be sure to check out Schooner nights at Chumley's, Beat the Clock at The O, and $2 martini's on Tuesdays at I Bar.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Lots of great options for chain restaurants and smaller places too. Classier restaurants and healthier options are mostly in the Short North and require a car or a cab to get to. Lots of places deliver and offer student discounts if you order through websites like OrderUp, GrubHub, etc

4 College Freshman

Administration: The administration and campus police are very understanding of pretty well every situation. They're really here to help and keep people safe and stay out of people's business if they're shown respect and if safety is a non-issue.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Scholarships for international students are fairly limited and it can be complicated and time-consuming to get the select few in. My advice is apply early and apply to a ton, even the small ones. Every time you see a scholarship that you think isn't worth your time, there are 50 other students thinking the same thing. The competition just went down for that scholarship!

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: I had the unlimited plan and really didn't mind eating at Morrill/Kennedy commons most of the time, but both dining halls could have used more variety. The meal plans are also super expensive no matter which one you choose, and the on-campus food options are way overpriced if you're paying with cash and not a meal plan.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Living on campus keeps you very close to just about anything you could need. My dorm had a dining hall on the first floor, a bus stop right outside, the main gym five minutes away and the library withing ten minutes.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: High Street has so much to offer. Definitely take a bus (or long walk if it's nice out) to the Short North. Check out ZenCha and One Line in that area. Also, check out Catfish Biff's and Adriatico's closer to campus.

There is a reason the Buckeye Nation is considered to be so devoted; an overwhelming love for OSU is evident in student responses, and in the loyalty of alumni to their alma mater. Each person has his or her own reasons for loving the University, and there are quite a few of them. Some students feel that the academics are top-notch and have found exactly the programs they wanted; others lean toward the athletic success of the Buckeye teams, while some just feel that the friendships and bonds they have made are enough to make their tenure at OSU worthwhile. At any rate, everyone can agree that being a Buckeye creates a special bond between you and nearly 50,000 other students, which you will carry with you for the rest of your life.

Once you get past the sheer size of the University, it will really become a second home. After only a quarter of classes, you won't be able to cross the Oval without seeing someone you know. Ohio State is truly the smallest large university you will find. The people are known for their friendly attitudes, and alumni are scattered across the nation. If you choose to go to OSU, you're choosing a school with a name that's well known, both in the workplace and in the college community. Few students ever regret their time at Ohio State, and most consider their college experience to be among the best offered in the Big Ten and the country.
