Overall Experience: I absolutely love OSU, there's always something going on and plenty of people around. Being a big school, if you want to change your major to something kind of weird, OSU probably has it and you don't have to transfer to another school. Classes can be challenging but once you figure it out, become much easier to manage and succeed in. I've met some really amazing people and wouldn't have wanted a different first year of college.

Overall Experience: I think Ohio state is one of the best schools out there not only with their program, but with the people there. You always feel wanted and it's easy to find support and friends.

Overall Experience: I love it here, it's close to home, even in the large classes there is always someone who will be able to help me, and we are really good at football. I feel like im really being educated rather than just going through the motions which is how I've felt in many other situations.

Overall Experience: I transferred into Ohio State University last year. I had previously attended a much smaller school, and I realized that I wanted a large school with more opportunities. OSU, whether you are an entering freshman or a transfer, can be extremely overwhelming at first. I definitely got a slap of reality when it came to classes. The expectation was much higher than my previous school. But, after a while you start to find your flow. Just know that it is very hard to slack off in classes, and get a good grade.

The most common thing thats deters students from going to a large university is the fear that there are so many students, you will feel like you can't find your niche or that you will feel like you're drowning. It's a valid fear, but it doesn't have to happen to you. First, there's so much offered at OSU, including major, clubs, events, etc. that anyone can find their niche here. But, you must make an effort do so. In your major classes, that is where you will start to be able to stand out, know the people around you, and know your professor. No matter what university or college you attend, big or small, you must make an effort to figure out where you feel you thrive the most.

Transferring here had been my dream since my first semester of college. It was my dream, and I finally achieved it. I don't regret transferring into OSU. It has more opportunity, and I also feel like I belong at OSU more than I ever did at my other university.

Overall Experience: Ohio State is the perfect school for me. It's large, so there are always things going on, new people to meet, and new experiences waiting to be had. I absolutely love being a buckeye and it's so great being surrounded by so many intelligent & kind people. There's no place I'd rather be.

Overall Experience: OSU is a very good school for kids who just got out of High school, if you are a working adult there are not many options for fitting in school. The tuition is decent price for the name of the school. Campus is very mellow and clean. Students are very friendly and out going. There is a club for just about everything. Plus the sports events are amazing and affordable for students.

Overall Experience: I love the traditions that come with Ohio State. It's very exciting to be a Buckeye- the atmosphere is incredible. Science class are huge and challenging, but there are usually plenty of TAs to provide assistance when needed. There are lots of ways to get involved on campus, so many so that sometimes it is overwhelming. In a school this large, it can be difficult to find your niche, but in general students are very friendly and accepting.

Overall Experience: This school is the best. The faculty in my Dental Program aim to see us achieve our goals and successes. Their motto is not to leave anyone astray just come to them at any time if help is needed. I would definitely choose this school again. We spend so much time together it feels like a second family. If you are an out of state student, Ohio State University will make you feel at home. There are so many organizations on campus that a student can be a part of which will help students meet new people. And last but not least, we have the best football team.

Overall Experience: There is one way to describe it; one of a kind.

Overall Experience: The Ohio State university is unique in that it has a great diversity of students and majors. However, because of too many people in a classroom, it is up to the students to do well and maintain their GPAs. Personal helps are not to be expected and communication with professors or staffs are difficult. As an Asian students, I have experienced discriminations but they were not harsh and there are more nice people than the racists. Despite these negative qualities, I chose the Ohio State University because it had a potential of providing me with so much opportunities. I enrolled in the campus as a Biology major but was hoping to explore more subjects as I could discover what fits me better. Along with my major classes, I can choose what I want to learn in vast number of classes, and I fully understand that this is not possible in many of the universities in the United States. Another characteristic I like about OSU is that I can be friends with people of diverse ethnicity. I always envied people who not only knows a lot of people but also knows people with different nationalities. Also, because of diverse ethnicities, the campus is filled with amazing cultures. As a freshman, I have not fully experienced the greatness of OSU but so far, OSU is the best college for me.

Overall Experience: I like my school. Even though it is large, there are always people around, which can sometimes be a good thing. The athletics are definitely fun, but I love the opportunities that Ohio State presents to me. I feel like going to this school will present with greater opportunities. They also usually have fun, helpful staff teaching classes. It is definitely an experience here.

There is a reason the Buckeye Nation is considered to be so devoted; an overwhelming love for OSU is evident in student responses, and in the loyalty of alumni to their alma mater. Each person has his or her own reasons for loving the University, and there are quite a few of them. Some students feel that the academics are top-notch and have found exactly the programs they wanted; others lean toward the athletic success of the Buckeye teams, while some just feel that the friendships and bonds they have made are enough to make their tenure at OSU worthwhile. At any rate, everyone can agree that being a Buckeye creates a special bond between you and nearly 50,000 other students, which you will carry with you for the rest of your life.

Once you get past the sheer size of the University, it will really become a second home. After only a quarter of classes, you won't be able to cross the Oval without seeing someone you know. Ohio State is truly the smallest large university you will find. The people are known for their friendly attitudes, and alumni are scattered across the nation. If you choose to go to OSU, you're choosing a school with a name that's well known, both in the workplace and in the college community. Few students ever regret their time at Ohio State, and most consider their college experience to be among the best offered in the Big Ten and the country.
