Overall Experience: I absolutely love everything about Ohio State. The diversity, people, and classes that I experience everyday just shows that I couldn't have a better advantage for my future. OSU has extremely hard classes that I am currently struggling with. I wouldn't say that I would not choose Ohio State again if I could do it over, but I would change how I reacted to the studying and amount of work from the start. Compared to other colleges and universities that my friends are going to, I am getting the best of the best education and experiences around. Even though I am struggling now in some of my difficult classes, I know that it will be worth it one day when I walk across the stage as a graduate of The Ohio State University.

Overall Experience: I am starting my first year at Ohio State in Fall 2016. I have visited friends and family on campus often, and I love the campus life. The traditions are amazing, food is great, campus is beautiful, and the football games are by the the most fun event I have ever been to.

Overall Experience: Ohio State was my first choice when I first toured when my brother was looking at colleges. I was so happy I got accepted because this was the only place I wanted to go, and that opinion has remained the same throughout my first semester here. I have stayed involved in volunteering, 15 credit hours of classes, and working on Ohio State's literary and arts magazine.

Overall Experience: Cost: For a four year school it's definitely reasonable.

Scholarships: Did not get any when I transferred making the cost seem awful.

Living: I live at home, but I wish I could afford to move out.

Teachers: They are really helpful and know me on a first name basis.

Classes: Really personable aside from the Gen Ed classes.

Safety: Has a text and email system, but when it mattered, they were so vague the safety message did not help at all.

Overall Experience: I am working on a degree in Computer Science and Engineering. OSU has INCREDIBLE resources for students. The college of Engineering has a separate department who's sole purpose is to get students internships and jobs. It has been the most helpful resource in college education yet. Internships posted through the college of engineering are all paid, and thats a big plus!

Overall Experience: So far this school has been great. I transferred from another school to here and it was the greatest decision I could have ever made. There are many groups here to join, and everyone is very welcoming to those who are new to campus. There sre many opportunities here. It's unique here because of the atmosphere. I definitely don't feel the way I feel here at other schools. I would chose this school again brcause of all of the opportunities available, and the many things to do on and off campus.

Overall Experience: Due to financial reasons, Ohio State was actually the only school I could afford to attend. It was rough at first, especially having to live at home and commute, but since joining clubs and changing my major I've made a lot of friends.

Overall Experience: I transferred to OSU after being at a small private school for a year. At my old school I had nothing to do and often couldn't be who I wanted to become. Here, though, at OSU I am able to do whatever I want and become the successful person I want to become in the future.

Overall Experience: The University is fantastic so far. The area surrounding the campus is great. I have a new dorm room. I will get to experience the four seasons for the first time. My classes are challenging and the people are friendly. The only downside so far is that I miss my dogs (and my family) -- but I wanted to go to school away from home.

There is a reason the Buckeye Nation is considered to be so devoted; an overwhelming love for OSU is evident in student responses, and in the loyalty of alumni to their alma mater. Each person has his or her own reasons for loving the University, and there are quite a few of them. Some students feel that the academics are top-notch and have found exactly the programs they wanted; others lean toward the athletic success of the Buckeye teams, while some just feel that the friendships and bonds they have made are enough to make their tenure at OSU worthwhile. At any rate, everyone can agree that being a Buckeye creates a special bond between you and nearly 50,000 other students, which you will carry with you for the rest of your life.

Once you get past the sheer size of the University, it will really become a second home. After only a quarter of classes, you won't be able to cross the Oval without seeing someone you know. Ohio State is truly the smallest large university you will find. The people are known for their friendly attitudes, and alumni are scattered across the nation. If you choose to go to OSU, you're choosing a school with a name that's well known, both in the workplace and in the college community. Few students ever regret their time at Ohio State, and most consider their college experience to be among the best offered in the Big Ten and the country.
