Always Know Your Grades and Professors Always Keep in Touch! As a student, this was very important to me. I was able to talk to my professors about not only my grades but the assighnments in which I received the grades. You pick your class load so make sure you pick a schedule in which you can handle. Within your class, you can build study groups or go to the math lab where they help you one-on-one with your math. Also you can sign up for tutors for any other classes you have. You register online for free and had a good orientation for freshman. The workload all depends on the classes you have but as a freshman, I was able to finish my work with some free time to spare.

I am following the engineering path, and so far it has been great! Occasionally the work can be tedious, but I find it quite interesting and I find myself always completing it first.

They have many clubs to join that help make meeting new people easy. Its a small, local college that allows me to keep in touch and meet other students with the same interests. The classes are relatively small in size which is great because it allows me to keep in personal contact with the professor. Asking any questions and talking with professors is much easier compared to larger campuses. The cost to attend is much more affordable, also.
