3 College Sophomore

Technology: We have computer labs and free printing on campus. I would say it is important to have your own computer and printer for late night studying and a crowded 24 hour room. Wifi dependability depends where you are on campus. Some floors in the dorm don't get good wifi (4th floor Dempsey, 1st floor Jobe Hanson).

4 College Sophomore

Technology: There are many computers available in the library and 24 hour room. If you need to work or print, you will find at least one computer free for use

3 College Freshman

Technology: most computers are alittle old but have up to date software. They can be slow at times

3 College Sophomore

Technology: The computers are usually very open for student use. Sometimes classes are taught in the computer labs during the day; however, there are always computers and printer access on campus. Printing is free!

Most students bring their own computers to Oglethorpe, but for the few who don't, usable computers (which run on Windows XP) are easily found. So is wireless access, which is available nearly everywhere on campus; unfortunately, the speed can be somewhat lacking.

Internet can unexpectedly drop at the most inopportune of times, and it will stay down for several minutes. Further problems are created when students attempt to play online games, only to have them randomly disconnect in the middle of quests. This usually happens during bad weather or when too many students are using their computers.
