5 College Student

Overall Experience: I fell in love with Northwood the first time I went there! I'm very excited about being apart of the Fashion program. I like that it is a smaller school so I can get more one on one time with professors instead of having big lecture halls.

Overall Experience: Everyone I have met at Northwood that is graduating this year already has job opportunities once they graduate.

Guys & Girls: Everyone, guys and girls, that I have met so far at Northwood are extremely nice and dress well, and most people I have met at Northwood play sports.

4 College Student

Athletics: They have two weight rooms, one for non-athletes and one for athletes, which I love!

4 College Student

Administration: The school makes it clear to be responsible and not have alcohol or drugs in the dorms.

3 College Student

Scholarships: I got the financial aid I needed without any issues.

Campus Food: I like the options they have in the cafeterias. and the to-go is very convenient for when you don't have much time to get food, if you're on your way to class.

Campus Housing: The campus is so beautiful, it's the perfect size and is very convenient to its students. All the professors, advisors, etc. are the nicest people I have ever met. Their programs are so beneficial and get their students hands on experience in their future career.

Off-Campus Housing: There's quite a few apartments and duplexes around campus.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The restaurants get repetitive quickly and the options aren't the healthiest.

3 College Freshman

Administration: Campus security is everywhere and so are the RA's, none of the school policies are affecting any academic or social lives

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: My parents took care of it

Party Scene: There aren't really any parties at Northwood

Campus Food: The cafeteria seating is updated but the food is terrible. People try and avoid the cafeteria because of the low quality. The variety is limited and the value they have a meal listed at per swipe is not worth the money.

Campus Housing: Campus dorms should be updated. My dad came to school here in the late 70's and the dorms haven't changed much. Everything echoes and a lot of the floors and standard appliances aren't clean. The social atmosphere is almost non existent because everyone goes home on the weekends for better food and to sleep in their own beds. Convenience wise, the dorms are located well to classes on campus and the only places to eat. This is rough for a student without a vehicle who's only options are to eat on campus. The cafeteria choices are very basic and not appetizing, I feel like everyone in the school would agree and this also makes kids flea campus on Thursday afternoons.

Majors: The biggest challenge with getting in to the Healthcare Administration program was trying to find an availability in my area.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I don't live on campus.

Drug Safety: So far I haven't seen nor heard anything about drugs. I've only smelled certain scents from different student that could make someone think that they use marijuana.

Health & Safety: I feel safe on campus.

College Sophomore

Athletics: I'm not for sure if my school offers athletics.

Technology: Since Northwood is a small school there is hardly ever people in the computer labs. There is always paper and ink in the printer. I really don't see the need for a personal computer but I do have one.

Parking: We don't need any permits and it's free. The availability is great as well, there is always some place to park on campus.

Majors: So far it's really going good. My career goals is to eventually begin working in a hospital and that experience will help me on decisions for the future. I pray it that it won't be hard for me to find a job in my field and I believe it won't. I will just stay positive and hope for the best.

College Sophomore

Majors: I have not had a internship as of yet but I have had an externship at Walgreens Pharmacy. I did not get paid and I worked from 9am-5pm. Yes, I plan to have an internship to get a better feel for my field of choice.
