Campus Quality: I go to the satellite campus in Leesville. The faculty is great and works with you. I

Campus Quality: Although the town is very small which takes away from the rating because it effects the social scence ,campus life is what you make of it but overall students have a lot of pride.

Campus Quality: Being such a small school, we don't have much. The main campus of our school is about an hour away so that is where most everything is. Everyone at our school mainly hangs out in the library where we have great study rooms on the back wall that have floor to ceiling windows that I LOVE or they hang out upstairs in a space that has tons of chairs and tables. That space is also the only space you can eat at so, of course, we stay up there a lot ha!

Campus Quality: To attend my school your have to have one of two majors, Nursing or Radiological Science. Because our school only has these two programs, I feel it really brings students closer together. You know that anytime you see someone on campus they are studying one of those two majors, so you know you must have some sort of common ground. Also, this makes it so convenient to team up to study together or work on projects. As you've probably heard, nursing school can be very challenging so knowing that at least 50% of the students that go to your school are going through the nursing program as well is a very comforting feeling. It allows you to feel like you are all in it together.

Campus Quality: I don''t really pay attention to campus life as far as activities go, however, there's always emails coming through about campus dinners, fundraisers, and etc helping raise money for kids at St. Jude. That makes me feel that the student community are always seizing the opportunity to support, which is very heartwarming. Our school spirit isn't like what one would see on television; not too many students show up to pep rallies or games depending on the weather, but being a band student, we have more than enough school spirit to satisfy ourselves and support our athletic department.

Even though NSU is a very small campus, there are many ways one can get things done. It may not seem like it, but Northwestern’s campus is very convenient. For schoolwork, there are several different labs and computer facilities that allow students that do not own a computer or laptop to complete assignments. There are several buildings, including the library, that have computer labs, but there are different schedules of closing and opening times, which can sometimes be a pain.

In terms of athletics, if you need to work out, the campus has the WRAC (Wellness, Recreation and Activity Center) that helps you work out no matter what type of activity you enjoy. What is especially great is that every facility is well-kept, with the buildings being cleaned after closing time.
