Academics: The professors, curriculum, registration process, workload, etc. have been positive experiences. As an online-only student, I have had no issue communicating with necessary departments, or receiving information in a timely manner.

Academics: My major is amazing, beyond amazing. The workload is sometimes overbearing but that is part of college. I love my major because I get to work with children and because there are great job opportunities.

4 College Senior

Academics: It's excellent because you get attention more.

Academics: The classes aren't too difficult, but you need to do the work and go to class or you will fail.

Overall, the NSU teachers don't treat students like a number but as individuals. They post their office hours online, on their doors, and even on the syllabus given to the class at the beginning of the year. Many will even schedule appointments that work with the student's schedule. They want you to succeed during your time at NSU, so take your time—study at your own pace and try to keep up or stay ahead with homework.

One piece of advice: read and look over the syllabus for the class. These are there to help you and keep you informed on the classes, as well as the schedule of the class. Many teachers will even schedule for a class to be canceled, so you want to make sure you don't show up if you don't have to. Think of the syllabus as your life for that class.
