Health & Safety: The security is very strict on campus. The security cars are always driving around campus, checking up on students and walking through buildings to make sure everything is in order.

Overall Experience: I wish I would have applied to more colleges. Graduation day for me will be such a sigh of relief!

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Northwest University creates great opportunities for students to find a career. Especially those in the ministry field.

Campus Housing: Living on campus at Northwest University feels like living at summer camp. Although it's fun and exciting at first, it gets old really quick. Being on campus during the weekends can be boring and feels somewhat like detention. I wouldn't recommend living on campus to any of my friends.

Greek Life: We don't have Greek Life here at Northwest University. This school is not diverse at all and is very stereotypical of non-white people. The majority of the campus is white, and of those white students 80% of them are very sheltered and have no knowledge of racial identity or ethnicity.

Athletics: Athletics here at Northwest University are all about the money factor. I attempted to have the women's soccer coach come watch a few games my senior year but he never came out because I didn't play for a select team. When I tried to get on the team as a student here at NU the coach was unwilling to workout a scholarship plan with me. So all that to say, I am not playing soccer in college and will not go to any sporting events to support because they are all too concerned with money.

Overall Experience: I love Northwest University. It's a great school where I am encouraged to express my religious beliefs every day. The professors are very hands-on and only wish to see their students succeed. The community of very students is very small and because of that, at times news gets around campus very easily which can be annoying and discouraging. Also, financially, this school is very very VERY expansive and Northwest University doesn't give out very many scholarships and the ones they do give out are not very big ($1,000-$5,000 scholarships for a $36,000 school)

Health & Safety: The campus is very safe.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have yet to have a bad experience with a professor or a class.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: There are a lot of options for students careers after college.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I don't mind living in the dorms, although Id like to live in the on campus apartments.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I participate in soccer and track and I love it.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have had a very positive learning experience here. I have learned a lot and grown spiritually as well as academically.

Overall Experience: Lese in financial aid and Chris Cowan my academic advisor are so through with me. They have explained the application and financial aid process in terms that I understand and have prepared me for what is next.

Athletics: I am going to be an online student so I won't be going to campus seeing or attending sports.

Health & Safety: 24/7 security, right by police station, very safe community!

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: This really depends on what professor you take! Due to being a religious school, be careful when listening to views of professors as to whether its opinion or factual!

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Depends on your major, but certain majors have a plethora of connections for students to receive job shadows and internships and even jobs.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I feel like if you are going to spend the kind of money you do for Northwest, you need to live on campus. It gives you an opportunity to truly get connected and be in community. The housing isn't very nice but the amazing RAs and ACs make the experience great and worth it.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Athletic facilities are mediocre, sports teams are not supported much, although the teams aren't very bad. Sports are not hyped up at Northwest.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Your experience at Northwest varies greatly on what your goal is to get out of it. If you are looking to major in ministry, this school is on fire for the Lord and has great resources. If you are looking into music, no doubt you should be here. If you are looking into anything else like business, sports, psychology, criminal justice, medical school, I would consider your options. Although there are some great classes for all of these, due to being such a small liberal arts school, money is invested more into ministry and music than any other program. The Nursing school is improving greatly, though. Northwest is definitely a school where you must be careful to not retain everything you hear and be discerning, for they tend to be a lot of talk and not as much walk. Northwest is great for some, okay for others, and overwhelming and not beneficial to the rest. Check Northwest out and talk to students with similar interests before committing! It could be the place for you, or not at all.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There has not been many cases of this that are heard of, if any at all.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love the school and mostly everyone i am surrounded by but the people running the school are a bit ridiculous

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: My school has a good jump start program open for students to get their careers started.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I have had two issues within my first semester that all the head staff of the living spaces were unprofessional and biased.
