4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: they have all the things on the list and they are well organized

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: If you need help with something there is a place for it, but it's hard to find. Once you find the room you're supposed to be in there is always a wait

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: the resources on campus are great, but small. not a lot of activities going on.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: It's definitely a performing arts school, but there are solid bachelor's programs.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: If you have all of your eggs in one basket (like a responsible adult should have), it is the easiest and smoothest school to get it! It is a state college so it has a variety of AA and AS degrees, yet is limited to medical and educational Bachelor Degrees. Smaller school so not the biggest classes. Teachers are very personable and actually feel like they want to get to know you. Absolutely WONDERFUL school over all. Only piece of advice? The school Academic Dean/president needs to make himself more involved.

At Northwest Florida State College, students have several resources available. Whether it's a research paper, independent studying, group studying, casual Internet browsing, or just a place to sit down and read, you can go to the LRC (Learning Resource Center) and get some instruction from a librarian. There is an online database with every book, publication, newspaper, audio book, film, and periodical available throughout this institution. If the book you are looking for is at another campus, you can request that it be transfered to your campus.

Also, there are several ASCs (Academic Success Centers) on campus where students can get tutoring if they are having difficulties in some areas of their study and need additional clarity. In addition, there is a career resource center whose mission is to help students target their aptitudes for careers, and to aid them in choosing a degree pathway.
