4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: This school is so much fun! The staff really care if you're there or not, and want you to succeed. The class sizes are small , so it's easy to ask the teachers questions without feeling awkward. The food is okay, lot's of variety anyway. The residence halls are placed for convenience, like the one I'm staying at is by where I go to class.

Overall Experience: Northwest is small enough for you to feel comfortable in the classroom! An example of this would be the teachers actually know your name and who you are rather than a person in a class of 250. The academics are just as good of quality of a major university and the teachers are friendly and approachable.

Academic Flexibility: There is almost always a class for the time that you want, or with the teacher that you want. The system is very flexible to getting students to were they need to be.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Haven't taken any online classes, but I know a lot of students take quiet a few classes online.

Career Services: I'm not to sure about this part of my school, but I'm sure it can't be to horrible.

Overall Experience: This is a small community college so there is great student to teacher ratio. The teacher's no you by name and actually care if you start to fall off the deep end or need some help. If you are looking for a small school that has great programs this is the place. All the teacher's are well qualified and there is always plenty to learn. There is so many programs that are geared towards the student's that normally would cost a lot of money, but at Northwest College there is a lot of programs that are free, like our pier tutoring center and writing center, the student success and trio programs, and my personal favorite is the outdoors education equipment. Any outdoor equipment you can think of they have it and it's all available for students to rent out. This school has many great opportunities for students to get out and learn hands on. There is always great travel destinations with different groups with the school for prices that are very affordable.

Overall Experience: This is only a 2 year school which gives one an associates degree, but when you graduate from this school you will definitely know your field of study very well.

Academic Experience: Being an art major I have no shortage of classes. With that the required classes for an art degree are enjoyable. There isn't much of a problem of classes over lapping each other, and if there is some over lap the teachers are all very understanding and will help you get the best fit for you. Teachers are quiet friendly and helpful on short notice. I think the workload given to the students are the right amount. I just suggest not taking more than 3 art class while still taking general classes, Just makes for a lot of homework if one's not careful.

Overall Experience: There are so many classes to choose from. There is such a wide range to pick from that it makes it difficult to settle on what major to be. If I had a endless money supply and time I would still be taking classes there. The funding for this school is astonishing, and so much is available to the students for free.

Online Courses: Taking my first online class right now and it's great!

3 College Junior

Career Services: Haven't graduated from NWC yet but there are a lot of options and teachers help to guide you to the right place for you.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love how close-knit this school is! The instructors take the time to get to know you and the class sizes are very small (25 at the most thus far). The smaller class sizes let you get to know people better as well as get help from your instructor.

Overall Experience: You get to work in public schools during your sophomore year for one of your education courses. The advisors also make sure you take the right classes to transfer to University when you are continuing your education!

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: While getting an Education degree at NWC, you get to work in the classroom during your sophomore year! This is amazing because if you go to a larger school, you most likely won't be working with kids until your senior year!

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Love the friendly atmosphere! There are a lot of events that go on on campus including comedy shows, talent shows, dances, outdoor activities, and so much more!

Academic Experience: Everything is very simple and user friendly here. Signing up for classes is easy and takes no time at all. The professors are passionate about their classes and really want you to walk away with something. They do not treat anyone like just another number in their classes.

Campus Resources: Everyone is very friendly and wants to help you solve whatever issue you have whether it be the tech center or your advisor.

Academic Flexibility: I have had no problems with flexibility in the classroom, as long as you are a good student and make it to class most of the time your professors will overlook a few missed days here and there.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: This college has given me so many opportunities to make friends through all the programs it provides. Though it is a small campus there is an activity almost weekly for students to go to.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have yet to have a bad experience with any one of my professors at Northwest College. Everyone is helpful, and almost anyone can direct you to the person you need to talk to if you aren't sure.

Overall Experience: A degree from Northwest College will be valuable in helping me transfer to a four year institution. I think that there will be a lot of job opportunities for me in the next two years as I will have completed an associates degree so I will have some experience in my field.

Online Courses: Online courses are good for when you have a time crunch and need a course but can't fit it in to your daily schedule. Some of them are harder because you are not able to ask questions in class and get immediate help, but most of the time your instructor will have some way for you to contact them. There is not a whole lot of peer to peer interaction in these course, they are mostly a work on your type of situation. I personally prefer to take my classes in a traditional classroom setting.
