Campus Resources: Everything is kept up well and close together.

Academic Flexibility: Transferring credits were easy, if you have the possibility of having to take a course you have already had they let you test out of it and you do not have to pay for that course.

Overall Experience: The teacher student interaction is great. Being able to have that extra help from someone who cares about your career gives you a sense of relief knowing you can do this. I would go here again. It is very nice environment that cares and works with you as an individual. Enrollment and meeting with a teacher is easy and they make it convient for you.

Overall Experience: There is about an average of 25 people in the class. The course we have for the LPN program are theory, clinicals, and labs. If you need to take math or anatomy and physiology to finish your degree they do provide those classes. There is a lot of interaction in the classes, it is better to learn techniques and better understand the information.

Overall Experience: The career outlook is great here. They help you find a job in your career path and internships. We learn many different things in school and apply them in clinicals and it helps decide which way you want to take your career.

Online Courses: Our online course has the areas we need to study, quizzes, and tests we need to take and deadlines, which is great to have and makes it easier to navigate through. Registration for the cite is simple, just need your name and school code number. The teachers are great at reminding you when things are due and help the class on a subject that needs more explanations. The website has videos of how to do something like a wrap on a limb or a nasal Gastrointestinal tube.

Student Body: There are a lot of whites, Mexicans, and Indians in my school. A lot of them are younger and they have programs for high school students to attend. I'd say the age difference ranges between 16-30 years of age. Everyone is pretty average by means of income, dress, and appearance. There are many opportunities and career paths so there really is not any diversity because we all have separate departments.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The positive side is that the financial aid office does offer a couple of scholarships but they are between many students. Financial aid here is many good for single parents with young kids, they are the ones receiving help and a lot of them do not have to pay for school. Unlike me I work full time and have to pay for my schooling and it is a struggle. I have filed for financial aid, but have never received it. What I am paying for is well worth it. They teach you many things that are useful and better than other nursing schools. They are ahead of the game in technology use for nursing school and actually have all the tools we need to learn.

4 College Senior

Career Services: They give you plenty of options for a career path in their LPN program whether you plan on going to a hospital, nursing center, of office to work. They help search for a job for you and will help further your degree if needed for that job.

Academic Experience: We have our own building for the nursing aspect to learn and to study. It makes it easier to learn the principles of for instance giving shots, medications, and doing a spiral wrap because we have our own lab to study in. They give us opportunities to go to different areas for clinicals to see the difference in surgery, labor and delivery, med surf., and a nursing home and it helps us to find out which way would like to go in our career and we get better internships that way.

Academic Experience: The registration process is very simple. First they have you test to see how far long you are and areas that you will need help in. You have to pass the test of course, but it gives them a bettering understanding of where you are academically. You fill out the registration package and set up an appointment with your advisor to go over the classes, registration, costs, and any concerns you may have. We have different teachers for like theory, clinicals, and lab, it makes it easier and you have more people you can talk to then just one teacher doing it all. Clinicals are twice a week and the night before the clinical we pick out our patient. We are graded in performance, knowledge of our patient, and administrating medications. Atitesting.com is used for studying, learning how to do a procedure, and testing as well.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: They give us access to a computer lab to do our online work at anytime including before and after school. We do clinicals at local hospitals and nursing homes, sometimes we will travel on bus to another location. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about subjects. They are very caring about their students and their career paths and help us do our best to succeed.
