With Boston being the college town that it is, one can only imagine the nightlife. Northeastern is right around the corner from Newbury Street, Boylston Street, and Lansdowne Street, right near Fenway Park. There's never a dull moment on the weekends, and there are always fun bars and venues to go to and party. Whether you're looking for a dive bar or an exclusive nightclub, there's something for everyone in the city of Boston. Northeastern has a few bars very close to campus that are usually packed on weekdays as well as weekends. Conor Larkins and Our House East are two bars that are usually jam-packed with students by 1:30 a.m. for last call.
Bars in Boston are usually strict with fake IDs, so if you're under 21, there are several 18-and-up clubs and, of course, many apartment or frat parties to go to. It may take a while to adjust to the campus nightlife and get to know the students who are throwing these types of parties, but once you get to know the campus energy, you shouldn't have trouble finding places to go. The only downfall about going out in Boston is that the T stops running around 12 a.m., so your only options for transportation are taking a cab or walking home.
