Party Scene

Party Scene: If you're not in greek life than you need to go to clubs or bars, or know someone with an off campus apartment.

Party Scene: So much to do, especially if you are 21. I think that having things to do makes the impact much more positive for everyone.

Party Scene: There's always a party or a bar of club to go to, you just need to have friends. Those that complain about the party and weekend scene clearly don't want to be a part of it, and that's fine. I always have a blast!

Party Scene: When you can find a party to hang out its an okay time, but I've found myself staying in our dorms with our friends a lot more.

Party Scene: Northeastern is not really a party school. The few times I tried to find a party they were often busted by the cops. You need to know people to know where the parties are and trying to party in a freshman res hall is just stupid because the rooms are tiny and the doors are not soundproof, an RA will find you. Nightlife is hard if you're under 21. Boston businesses are really good at catching fakes. I now just go to a friends apartment and chill, fairly low-key stuff but it's nice

With Boston being the college town that it is, one can only imagine the nightlife. Northeastern is right around the corner from Newbury Street, Boylston Street, and Lansdowne Street, right near Fenway Park. There's never a dull moment on the weekends, and there are always fun bars and venues to go to and party. Whether you're looking for a dive bar or an exclusive nightclub, there's something for everyone in the city of Boston. Northeastern has a few bars very close to campus that are usually packed on weekdays as well as weekends. Conor Larkins and Our House East are two bars that are usually jam-packed with students by 1:30 a.m. for last call.

Bars in Boston are usually strict with fake IDs, so if you're under 21, there are several 18-and-up clubs and, of course, many apartment or frat parties to go to. It may take a while to adjust to the campus nightlife and get to know the students who are throwing these types of parties, but once you get to know the campus energy, you shouldn't have trouble finding places to go. The only downfall about going out in Boston is that the T stops running around 12 a.m., so your only options for transportation are taking a cab or walking home.
