The facilities on Northeastern's campus get better by the year. The University places a large emphasis on appearance and makes sure the campus is always looking stellar. Almost every facility or building is equipped with plasma TVs and various forms of entertainment. The Curry Student Center is the perfect place for students to hang out and grab a bite to eat at any of the favorite eateries located on the ground floor, including D'Angelos, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Freshens Smoothies. Also, on the ground floor, you will find afterHOURS, which serves as a relaxing study environment with its own Starbucks by day and a late-night dancing club or comedy show by night.
The library, also known as "Club Snell," is located right next to the student center and offers four floors of endless books and tables. The top two floors are "quiet floors," and the bottom two are for students who are working in groups or do not mind the noise. If staying fit is one of your priorities, the Marino Center is open almost all day and night. With two big floors of fitness equipment, three large basketball courts, and an indoor track that wraps around the gym, you should have no trouble keeping up with your workout routine. The Cabot Center has a large pool where the swim team practices, and there are times for students to swim during their free time, too. Some of the bigger events on campus (including concerts, educational programs, famous speakers, and fundraisers such as Relay for Life) are held in Matthews Arena, which is also where the hockey and basketball teams play.
