Campus Food: The dining halls often lack variety and high quality food but the other ammenities make up for it. Rebecca's is THE place to go for lunch - you can get a bagel sandy or pancakes and bacon at breakfast OR a panini/drink/side or hot meal from the grill for a meal swipe at lunch time. Outtakes is a good option if you realize you never finish your mealswipes in a week. They have cereal, drinks, yogurt, prepared food and a few other groceries that you can buy on a point system - 8 points = 1 meal swipe. Also, Huntington Ave. has a few great places that will accept Husky Dollars and Dining Dollars. Wallaston's is the closest grocery store but it can be pricey, so opt for Symphony Market which is a little further down the street. Qdoba, Boloco, and Amelias are all great mexican options that will also accept campus cash.

College Freshman

Campus Food: I have no tried the food yet because I will just be entering my graduate program in the fall.

4 College Senior

Campus Food: The food here is great for college - there are so many options you can't go hungry

4 College Student

Campus Food: I liked the food it was very delicious and there was a lot of variety every week.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food here gets repetitive very quickly. By sophomore year, you're going to want a kitchen and off of the meal plan. It's also just not worth the price. $16 a meal is simply ridiculous. Point. Blank. Period.

The food on campus is pretty good. There are choices for the health-conscious, and kosher dining plans are available at no extra charge. With three dining halls, students can mix up their meals so they don’t get bored. As a freshman, you are required to have a meal plan if you’re living in the residence halls, and since you won’t have a kitchen your freshman year, you’ll be spending a lot of time in the "D-hall," as it’s commonly known. It’s fun to go with a group of friends and get waffles or omelets for brunch or a grilled chicken sandwich and fries for lunch. Some people complain about the food, but they’d be hard-pressed to find a college campus with much better options. One of the recent additions is the Xhibition Kitchen located in Stetson West, which periodically holds food demonstrations. The newest cafeteria in Parcel 18 also features great choices, such as freshly made sushi, all-day breakfast, and brick-oven pizza.

Some students swear by the dining halls so much that they’ll even spend much of the day there, chatting with friends, doing homework, and, of course, eating! There are always the staples such as pizza, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, and salad, but tacos and Mexican food are often served, too, in addition to roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy.

Did You Know?
There are five plasma TVs in the Stetson West dining hall. It also has a make-your-own stir-fry option, with a number of different meats and sauces. You usually have to wait a while until it's ready, but students agree that it's worth it!
