Health & Safety

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: Safest school I've ever been too, both to outside crime and crime from other students. There is no greek life so there are not drunks roaming around looking for trouble, it's in a safe quite neighborhood so there is no spillover community crime, and the students are very pro-active about keeping it that way. There is also a great support system in place if someone WAS the victim of crime, even if it didn't happen on campus.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Not much crime very close to zero but police men are always on alert making the campus feel safe.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I have noticed the fact that Northeastern Illinois university constantly has a police officer in most parts of the school. For example, there are usually two pairs of police officers who stand outside of the campus for hours and do their observing. Having a police department located within our campus, as well as so much support regarding these measures makes me feel very secure. However, if I were to ever feel uncomfortable, I know that I can call for an escort as well as further safety precautions.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Feel extremely safe on campus.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel really safe on campus. They have the best security there and will even escort you to your car at night if you take night classes. I have never felt at any moment my safety was in danger, the security guards are extermly friendly and always greet me with a smile every morning.
