Academic Flexibility: The flexibility of my classes has been different this 2014-2015 school year. We are on the 4-day schedule so we do not attend on Fridays. It has not truly had a harsh effect on my grades or experience, I honestly love the change and hope that it continues.

Student Body: Students here are very friendly and welcoming. It is diverse and you will meet nice people of all sorts of races.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Overall, it is not a bad school. I would honestly recommend people to look into it. It is a nice friendly and well kept environment that I'm sure would attract anyone. The only thing that I wish would really improve is financial aid assistance and on-campus job availability.

Campus Resources: Campus Resources are a great thing to have at Northeast. Places such as the library tend to come in handy. If one does not have a computer of their own or yours is simply down for some reason, the library is always available when you need it. (Within reasonable hours of course)

Online Courses: Online courses are definitely different, but not necessarily impossible. I'm sure each course differs but you get out what you put into it. You have to be aware and on top of things at all times.

Academic Experience: I only say that it is ok simply because of how challenging it is. There is a lot of work to be put into my major but I feel that it will eventually pay off in the end. Besides, what would be the purpose of striving towards our goals if they were easy to reach?

Academic Experience: Northeast has a variety of majors to look into both technical and university parallel. Taking courses here is a great way to learn, explore, and figure out what you want to do.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Northeast Mississippi Community College is a good school, I just wish there were more awards to assist students financially. There are not many outside awards to apply for nor institutional. I, personally, have received none. I just wish that they offered more opportunities to students, especially the ones with out jobs that are full time. Maybe an award geared towards artistic talent despite any major, community involvement, just something. I personally have no scholarships from the school and could definitely use the extra assistance with books and other unexpected fees.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is reasonable price. Financial aid is easily accessible. Do not be afraid to apply for anything. You might be surprised at how many scholarships you get just by applying.

Overall Experience: I love that is only a few minutes from my home. I have made a lot of friends so far and I really enjoy the campus. I would choose northeast again if I had to do over because it was the cheapest way for me to start out going to college.

Academic Experience: Northeast is known for its good nursing program. They offer internships at local hospitals once your finished with your clinical. Workload is difficult but it is worth it in the end. Facilities all over town allow upcoming nurses plenty of opportunities to get as many clinical hours as possible.

Academic Experience: The teachers are highly educated and very helpful. The curriculum is challenging but nothing anyone can't handle. Registration was a breeze, they accepted me in no time and was willing to help me out in anyway possible.

Campus Resources: The library is their biggest asset. From the time they open until close, there are always a steady flow of students in and out. Our student center is family crowded at all times. Clubs like to meet in the center because its such a convenient place.

Academic Flexibility: My school is only a few minutes from my home, so it easily accessible for me. I get out of class around twelve o'clock everyday that is a huge plus considering I have to be at work at three. The teachers are willing to help you in any way they can, its just a matter of asking.

Student Body: Campus is a huge melting pot, varying from Caucasians, African Americans, to Asians and Hispanics. Everyone is excepted, students here are very diverse and acceptable on so many levels.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Class size is around 15-25 students, which I think is great because you have a better chance of talking to your professor one on one if you have questions. The class vary greatly with the majors. Every class has its own way of teaching and doing things which teaches the students variety and a better understanding of technology.

Overall Experience: While attending Northeast, students volunteer and/or intern at the job that influenced your major. This prepares us for what the job of choice is really going to be like.

5 College Junior

Career Services: The career center helps students find the jobs that most suit them.

Online Courses: My experience with online classes was completely different than the traditional classroom that I am use to.

As far as the relationship with my professor, I could come ask for help whenever and they didn't hesitate to help me, but the online class itself was so much more than I am use to that I wasn't particularly fond of the virtual classroom.

Overall Experience: The application process was a breeze! No fees at all.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I really have only taken one online course from Northeast and it was back in 2009.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I had credits from a 4 year University and they would not transfer because they weren't offered at Northeast.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: I really love the way they have redone the layout of campus since I was there in 2010. They have recently built a new student services/administration building that makes the process of finding people much easier!

Career Services: I transferred from Northeast to Ole Miss the first time, so there wasn't anything that they could help me with as far as finding a job. I have, however, heard that the placement for the students graduating from the Nursing Program is excellent and that is my current major.

Campus Quality: This will be my second time attending Northeast Mississippi Community College. Everyone has been so helpful! The only thing I wish was different is that there was more financial aid help.
