Academic Experience: I believe we have an excellent program for my major. The instructors are experienced in the field. We have clubs specific to our major. Those can give us chances to learn, socialize, network, and compete. Plus we are always seeking to build on the program, and keep it up-to-date.

Academic Experience: This is a rural area so a lot to the technical programs are influenced by the local industry. Transfer programs are comparable to other schools. You have the opportunity to actually get to know the professors and them you.

Online Courses: I liked my online classes pretty well. The classes were easy, but I learned a lot.

Campus Resources: Are Theatre program is awesome, it gets excellent funding. We don't compete in sports other than a few intermural activities, so our theatre is comparable to another schools football program. Plus the campus is has grown a lot in recent years.

Academic Flexibility: I haven't had any problems.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is low compared to other schools. The financial aid process is easy. You really get a good deal. The programs are excellent, classes are small. The instructors are great, and easy to talk to and work with.

Campus Resources: At Northeast Alabama Community College ,We have different resources on campus. Their is the Library which is very useful in time of writing papers and needing advice from authors. We have computer labs on campus that you can enjoy looking up the useful resources. We need these accessible to us for times of need.

Student Body: The student body at Northeast Alabama Community College is a very unique group. They all show compassion for the other fellow students. The percentage of the students that participate in clubs is the majority of the student body. The clubs consist of different expectations and all of these students are required to follow these rules. We have a variety of clubs, but a few are: Mu-Alpha Theta, Beta, Drafting ,fishing and wildlife ,and Theater. Theater is our biggest organization that we have at NACC. Mr.Webb ,the theater director , takes much pride in the plays at Northeast. This brings the students together in one assembly to express who we are. We are all different!

Thank you,

Jessica Hullander

Online Courses: Peers rarely interact. Teachers interact with students when needed and try to post announcements almost daily. Classes meet only once or twice a year on campus for midterms and/or finals. The most negative thing about online courses is just the peer-to-peer interaction. It is almost non-existent.

Overall Experience: It is a good school to go to with low tuition costs.

Academic Experience: For my personal major, I couldn't be happier with the professors. They are the greatest bunch I have been lucky enough to be taught by since middle school. They are all very professional and are experts in their field. They offer help and even encourage everyone who has chosen this career path. They want us to succeed and be the best we can be, and that is evident in their teaching and willingness to help us and answer questions even outside of school, if needed.

Academic Experience: There are some courses that this school doesn't have but that's why there are other schools also. You can start most degrees here and then transfer to another school if needed for your specific choice of study.

3 College Junior

Student Body: It really is not that much different from grade school... Everyone has their cliques and no one wants to go outside of those once they're in one.

Campus Resources: I selected "very friendly", but gave three stars because there was not an option for an "in between" type answer. This really depends on the person and/or department of the administration that you are working with. Financial aid administration is not somewhere I would want to spend much time with because of their attitudes, whereas the ones who work in the actual administration building are open to help with whatever concerns the students have. It really does depend on where you go and who you have to deal with at this college.

Overall Experience: Most of the professors I have had are really great. The few I really didn't like we're the ones who were less positive about their work or who we're more biased towards a certain student demographic (i.e. the prettier and obviously more privileged students, or those with extroverted personalities versus the introverts, etc.). The courses I have taken vary widely, but I feel they were taught well, with exception of the few with instructors who seemingly did not care about their work. The classes are smaller usually, so you get more one on one time than you would at a university, which is absolutely wonderful.

Overall Experience: This college has a great work study program and great career services center. I have worked with them on a few occasions and have not regretted a single thing. There are no headaches with talking to them or getting advice from any of these people. If I had a say in who got a pay raise, it would be these people in this department. They are the best people I have worked with at the school thus far.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think the financial aid department could definitely be nicer and work with students more on trying to find money for school, especially those with no income like myself. I have enough money to cover my classes, but I am still trying to find where to get the money for books. The financial aid department seems like they just want to get finished with their clients and not have to deal with them after that. They don't try to help you find other ways to pay for school. The means of college funds they seem to exaggerate most and prefer most are Pell Grants and Student Loans. Scholarships are most often supported and encouraged by those at the college who sponsor them. Otherwise, tuition is very reasonable. I love that it is nowhere near as expensive as a university would be...

Career Services: Career services at my college are really great! They are very knowledgeable and strive to help students (old and new) on a career path that seems as if it were meant for them.

Academic Flexibility: I like going to this college. However, I do wish that the teachers/administration were all equally flexible. Some of these are rude at times when you ask serious questions. Honestly, my worst experience has been with the book store when asking for prices on books I need to gauge my expenses and what money I have to have on me to get my books on time. Other than that, I really do like this school. I am lucky to have the opportunity to continue my education here.

Academic Flexibility: I honestly don't think there has been any issues!
