Campus Resources: The library and chat rooms are great. Being as online campus it helps to connect with other students.

Academic Flexibility: In the past, required classes clashed with each other on when they were scheduled and professors were quick to help me figure out independent studies to meet the requirements I needed to.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It is a small campus and fosters a great community that keeps up with each other even after graduation. Many students, many many many students, meet their spouses here. (It isn't that important, but if you wanted to know, now you do!)

The advisor I got set up with is so wonderful and knows of so many internship and job opportunities in so many different places that I could literally be anywhere and do anything I wanted and still be set up with great people and jobs.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Each class is small so students have constant access to learning in and out of the classroom. By your second or third year, you might even know all of the professors on campus and they will recognize you too. (This depends on your level of interaction with them, of course)

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: If you are truly interested in the program you apply for, your passion will relate you well with the advisors that are available to you. Each student is paired with an advisor in the exact major that you apply for and are in. The advisors are available at practically any time and are easily reachable to set up meetings and the like. Each advisor has great connections in the field you will be entering so if you spend any time with your advisor at all you can also get plugged into great opportunities. Career services are very helpful for every aspect of whatever questions you may have about job opportunities and job outlook and other questions you might come up with.

Online Courses: If you are looking for a lot of online classes offered, you might want to look elsewhere. The faculty are getting very good at adding new online classes each semester but with less professors teaching more subjects and teaching more class hours, I think offering online classes takes the backseat to actual live classes.

Student Body: The student body does a lot for advocating student wants and needs to the administration here. Not many people run for student body but the ones that do are very active and actually care about the needs of the students. Many opportunities for being in student leadership on each dormitory floor exist and can be applicable to future job applications and resumes as being in leadership roles.

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The list price of the university is daunting but the financial aid office is really really good at offering many scholarships for many different things. Donor scholarships are also available every year and anyone can apply for them. Making the payments at school are very easy and streamlined and the fees are clearly explained. If I ever have a question, I can just stop by in the financial aid office any time during office hours and someone is there that will promptly help me.

Career Services: Depending on who you get to know and try spend time with (for professors in your area of study) there will be a huge network of job prospects around the country. The career center is always posting job opportunities in all types of job situations in the weekly email newsletter and each student is automatically signed up for a wonderful career resource website that connects them with hundreds of job searches, job postings, potential employers, and the like.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I feel very cared about with my advisors in my program etc

Professors in this area are very knowledgeable about the subjects they teach

The workload includes a LOT of reading (but that is expected of English-Literature Track!)

The Library is a great resource, especially for this specific major

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: There are not many Science classes at all so if you want those, I'd go with a different university. The music, English, Psychology, ministry majors are all wonderful here and are very well staffed with professors who really care about their students and their success through the courses that are required for each specific major

Class registration is entirely online and each student needs to have an advising meeting with their assigned mentor or advisor so that each student registers for the classes they need to graduate on time. Advisors are very helpful and know you by name.

Depending on major, students can expect a lot of work--this should be expected for most college programs. These programs really equip each student in each area.
