Overall Experience: North Park University has been rated as the Top 50 Christian Schools of the Midwest. It is not only known to be in the heart of the beautiful city of Chicago, but it is extremely known for it's culture and diversity. It is easy to gain friendships for a lifetime and be able to networking with many people, as well as professionals that will give you tips on gaining employment and internships. I have started as an undergraduate student here at North Park University and it has been a phenomenal experience. Plus, there have held many sports events, networking events, Chicago adventure events, and so much more! The small intimate classes makes it very challenging since all of the attention are is coming from the professors and they are helpful towards any assignment difficulties.

Overall Experience: School experience has been great. I've had excellent teachers that have made me fall in love with subjects I never thought I would. I also made my closest friends in college.

Overall Experience: Compared to other Christian schools, North Park may be what a quiet, small town student is searching for. However, on the scale of competing Universities and Colleges located in Chicago, Illinois, the school is lacking in diversity, a strong student leadership dynamic, and general exciting campus activites which contribute to school spirit.

Overall Experience: Considering that North Park University is a small school, it makes my experience way easier and better. It makes it a great school due to the fact that you actually can communicate with your professors. Professors are also there to help you out, during office hours, or class times. North Park also provides many resources to use when it comes from any subject in a class, and also by providing my favorite, the writing center. The writing center is located in the library which is available to students everyday, whenever they feel iffy of their paper. Also many students are really friendly, which makes it easier to make new friends, and study buddies!

Campus Food: I do not have a meal plan so I do not eat from ARA. I love Einstein Bagels and the Viking Cafe. I buy something from there almost every day. Easy, quick, and affordable

Off-Campus Dining: I love 2 Asian Brothers and Papa's Philly. So good, quick, and student discounts! Also starbucks across the street!!

5 College Sophomore

Scholarships: They are very helpful with the process and you don't really have to do much on your own, besides accept the aid that is given to you. Very easy and quick

Health & Safety: There's always security around campus

3 College Freshman

Athletics: It's okay soccer is the key to npu

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are so many restaurants

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: You get a beautiful view it's cute room they are spacious and really nice settings build

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I like living off campus.

3 College Freshman

Administration: It's pretty small and open so it's not too strict during the day but when it comes to dorms I have heard from friends that it's pretty strict.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: They help me but not entirely.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: I love Einstein bagels but of course it is a bit expensive.

Campus Housing: The campus is spacious and I especially love the new building because there is a lot of technology.

4 College Senior

Athletics: The athletic facilities are the best part of our athletics at our school. People get the most ramped up about soccer, so after soccer season, not much happens in terms of fandom - other than ultimate frisbee, which is a club team.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: We don't have Greek life, which people seem to be just fine with for the most part.

5 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: It's Chicago - literally any type of food for any budget at any time, all pretty easily accessible.

3 College Senior

Administration: North Park picks and chooses its battles with students, which makes sense and also leads to some inconsistencies in strictness.

2 College Senior

Campus Food: There have been a few shining moments are ARA, but for the most part, it's lackluster. It often gives people indigestion. The fruit and salad bar can be good, but it isn't always fresh. The pizza is floppy on a good day. The sandwich bar is usually a pretty good standby, but man cannot live on sandwiches alone. They have a good variety of cereals, but again, not a great or very filling option. The grill is greasy and not very good. The hot food line is usually one of the following: strange, gross, over/undersalted, cold, mushy. Vegetarians, beware. There is little for you here. Center Stage can be redeeming, although the options are not consistently good.

4 College Senior

Campus Housing: Living in the dorms usually is just fine, though it's not where people want to stay for the entirety of their career, usually. You have to have a meal plan, which is the downside since the dining services are not fabulous by any stretch of the imagination. Most of the dorms have ample space, and you learn to deal with other people's living habits!
