Overall Experience: So far, everyone I've had the opportunity to meet has been very friendly and helpful! I am very glad I chose to pursue my nursing degree at NIC.

Overall Experience: NIC has a beautiful campus and is easy to navigate. The professors are great (for the most part). I would choose this school again. It also has a great and convenient location in town.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Class size is just right, there are a good number of courses but I wish there were more. I really like most of my professors and courses.

4 College Junior

Student Body: I feel like peers are accepting and friendly at my school. I have never heard of anyone being bullied which is great. There isn't a lot of diversity at the school.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I avoid the financial aid office like the plague and I have heard similar thoughts from others. They are extremely rude and difficult to talk to. Once everything is figured out however, the financial aid is reliable and somewhat easy to monitor.

2 College Junior

Career Services: Maybe the program is great... if I'd ever heard it mentioned here.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I wish I could take more specialized classes towards psychology. There are so few classes that I have to do my next psych semester online.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I really like most of the professors I have had so far. Class registration is pretty simple but I wish there were more options/times that worked together. The workload is manageable, probably average for most community colleges.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: I feel that there isn't a lot of information about the resources on campus. I'm sure I'm missing great events and activities.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: You can get classes when you need them, and they're usually spaced to leave you with time at the end of the day, and some time in the middle of the day.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: It's in a good location to commute to, traffic isn't bad, it's on beautiful Lake Coeur D'alene, the program is excellent.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: We have a few hours of lecture in the morning, and four hours of hands on training in the afternoon. This helps us understand what we need to do and how things work, then gets us used to assembling/testing those things.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The program I am enrolled in has a fairly high job placement rate, and is very thorough on what they want "on the job".

3 College Junior

Online Courses: It's nothing short of what you would expect. You have a curriculum, assignments, and some student interaction.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: They send constant updates, and make it very clear on how the process works; if you have questions, you can walk into the office and ask!

4 College Junior

Career Services: There is half a floor of the SUB dedicated to helping people find jobs and things of the like!

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The automotive program, though cramped into a re-purposed building, is nothing short of great. They teach to all the ASE standards, and make sure that their tests, which most everyone passes due to the great hands-on teaching that occurs there, are tougher to complete than the ASE certification tests.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: All the professors I've come across are reasonable, and they all have something to teach. The curriculum is also very reasonable, and the class registration was easy to complete. As another bonus, we have welding, collision repair, diesel, HVAC, automotive repair, and many others not only right on campus, but in the same building!

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: They've got numerous resources, some needed, and some are just a treat. The Student Union Building (SUB) has a book/supplies store, a small coffee cafe, large cafeteria, many choices in food, games downstairs, a place to help you find a job/know who is hiring where upstairs, not to mention things like a small gym on campus, a place right on the beach to rent things like volleyballs and other outdoor equipment. That, combined with the large amount of classes that are available here, make this a very good place to go to school.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: So far all of the above are great.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: This school has a lot of help to offer and is a great starting point. My advisor is someone who specializes in my area.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors know what they are talking about and explain it well.
