The dining options near campus are mostly nationally recognized food chain restaraunts including Applebees and Buffalo Wild Wings which are sit down restaraunts that offer chicken wings, salads, sandwiches, and pasta. Other places are Spicy Pie and Jimmy Johns which offer pizza and french bread sandwiches, respectively. A few of these places have amazing prices for college students while others are just affordable and approaching the spendy side! There are typically one-day-a-week student discounts like 47 cent Wing Tuesday at Buffalo Wild Wings which is an awesome deal! These discounts are really beneficial for students on a tight budget.

I have had many classes that I LOVED, a majority being classes involving my major. I'm not going to lie, there are those few general courses that you need to take that are pretty brutal and boring, but if you put yourself in the right mindset they always turn out okay! Class size can be scary when it comes to generals but if you go to your professor's office hours when you need help you will typically find what you are looking for. Also, make sure you balance your work load so you don't become overwhelmed.

I am not a huge sports fan, but NDSU has A LOT of opportunity for students to get involved in sports of some kind. The college football team - the 'Bison' - have won some college football title five years in a row, and that apparently is a rare and extremely good thing... Also, NDSU has an amazing Wellness Center - it is a huge, multi-floor gym with a wide variety of exercise equipment, classrooms, a hospital on-campus, a rock-climbing wall, and (next fall) a new pool building!
