Academic Flexibility: The school's schedule is flexible only if you're up and enrolling in classes at the exact time they permit you to. If you wait too long, the classes with times you need will be gone, as we don't have more than 25 people in a class. I was unable to transfer credits, though I was a little past the time I could transfer them, they said there was nothing they could do. It was frustrating because that time in the career center feels wasted now, but understandable as it was past the time frame.

Online Courses: I have yet to do online courses, I start them in a month or so. But from what I have heard they are very good classes and I look forward to being in them

Overall Experience: So far, the college experience there has been pleasant. The workers have for the most part been very kind and helpful. And they have been flexible to my needs when it came to scheduling tests, orientation and meetings. I had a lady show me around the school and she asked what scholarship I was enrolled in, and showed me only the buildings I would need to know about as well as the classrooms I would be in. She was very helpful. All in all a very good experience so far.

Online Courses: I am currently taking two online classes and I must say that there is a huge difference from the class room settings. It's can be harder or easier depending on the individual and the teacher. Online classes require a lot of self discipline, multitasking and time management because as a student you have a lot of different things going on and you have to create time for the work load. The class being online allows a student to take any where which is great for going out of town or vacation. However, this also mean sense there is no set time you have to make sure you complete your work with out reminder and in class work time. So there's no really breaks, it's a everyday working at the subject. Peer to peer reaction is nonexistent, unless you include the discussion boards where a student can interact with the teacher and other students. The processor and student relationship is different because you don't see each other face to face but you can always email and visit them during office hours. The overall registration is quick and easy, you must take a online tutorial before taking an online class. The tutorial goes step by step showing the student how to take the online class and helpful tips . The classes range from psychology two walking and jogging online.

Overall Experience: My school is the best because it provide students with cost affect schooling and opportunities to see what is the next step. I currently am attending a junior college, so the classes are cheap than a four year college and the teacher all have a degree in their field. The classes are small which allows the teacher to focus more on the individual students and this provides more time for one on one. As a student this makes learning easier, it also encourages team building because we can break up in small groups to study or work on projects. This liberal style of learning, focusing on a general education has allowed me to explore all options of what I like to study and over all choose a career I can be successful in. NCTC allows be to do all of this and more. Also, they're several opportunities to build skill with tutorials on everything from money management to how to take a test and other colleges visit frequently. My college is a school is a system for fostering learning for all age groups, especially with a flexibility schedule.

Overall Experience: We do clinicals all over the area so we get to meet prospective coworker and bosses which is helpful

Academic Experience: It is focused on passing my NCLEX for the test which is very important

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: It is a good school that cares about the integrity of the profession and the student

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It is a very affordable college. Most of the professors are helpful and want to see you succeed. I do not plan to get my degree here as I want to go for BSN instead of associates degree in nursing, however it was a great start as I now have most of my nursing prerequisites done and am ready to transfer.

Overall Experience: The small classes here are wonderful. And the teachers are great

Overall Experience: I can't compare this college to other colleges, as it is the only one I've ever been to. I can say everyone is super nice, and my favorite teacher of all time (a specific math professor) is in this school. Faculty is very nice, and super helpful, and the campus is pretty (albeit, I am pre-disposed to woodland/marsh areas).

My favorite experience so far has been discussing math with my favorite math professor, and being blown away with how intelligent and knowledgeable she is.

I can only critique the boards' decision to not include discrete mathematics as part of the IT:Software Development major. Math and Programming go hand-in-hand, I am possibly going to minor/double-major in Math.

Overall Experience: They treat new comers as kids of level 1. Though the instructors were responsive to students' need but there are other things necessary for a collegiate.

Campus Resources: Good college, the work isn't very difficult. There are many different teachers, some are very rude and hard on students others are nicer and go easier on students. Overall I enjoy my time at North Central and would recommend this school to friends.

Student Body: The student body is okay, but these days, everyone has their head stuck to their smartphones or aren't paying anyone else much attention. Those that do talk to other students, are usually the ones doing very well from what I hear. I am friendly but I try not to "be myself" too much because I don't want to be looked at as "odd".

The diversity at my school is great! The student body is what you would expect from any college; people of every ethnicity, students who live on campus (and those who don't), and students who are open about their sexual orientation. I am glad to see that there are organizations for students who are creative or have like-minded ideas, and that these students won't feel alone with these groups as long as they stay active.

I feel as if the level of acceptance here at NCSC (North Central State College) needs work. I feel as if students are just putting up a wall to keep from being distracted by others. I am sort of the same way, but I have to nod or say "how are you" to someone; I won't feel human if I don't!

Online Courses: It all depends on which professor you have for the amount of workload.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Flexibility of classes and ease of transferring credits were incredibly easy.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors' classes teach to their class so nothing surprises you when you take a class. Class sizes are perfect and the professors are enthused about what they teach.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: There is a lot of recruitment and internships available on campus.

Career Services: You can get a higher degree than associate's but its only through special programs.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think I am getting way more out of my education then what I pay for. Applying and receiving financial aide is very easy. They send a postcard asking if you want to accept or deny financial aid, then you go online and accept or decline, after the FASFA of course.
