Off-Campus Housing: There is not a lot available off campus.

Off-Campus Housing: The few houses I've visited off campus are quite nice, although I hear they're kind of expensive - but then again its a fancy neighborhood in Naperville so everything is about the same price

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live off campus, but the surrounding area is very expensive to live in.

Off-Campus Housing: Winter Term is the worst for off campus. The weather is terrible but during spring and fall the walk is beautiful.

Off-Campus Housing: My friends and I were trying to get a house off campus, but the cost and location is inconvenient. We would need cars to get to campus and not all of us have access to one.

North Central College is a commuter school. Most students are drawn from the local area and live with their parents. Compared to residents and commuters still living at home, students living in Naperville apartments are the minorities. This is partly due to the demographics of the school and because of the school's location.

Naperville may be a great area with tons of apartment options, but the area is also a higher-income area, meaning rents are usually out of most students' budgets. If students can connect and share an apartment with another, they can get a much better value than living on campus. However, they have to be willing to stay or at least pay for their unit year-round.
