NC State is a HUGE school. While most people can see this as a negative thing, I see it as a positive since that means there are so many opportunities. There are lots of students interested in similar things, lots of organizations, lots of Greek Life things (if that's your thing), etc. There are also a lot of professors who are willing to help you in classes or working in research. NC State is known for lots of things but any major you pick here will be a good one. GO PACK!

TRIO allows you to get into classes as early as seniors! It is a great program to be apart of and so helpful in making sure you are provided in every way you need: figuring out classes, what to get involved with, what scholarships to apply for, etc. Coaches and advisors are AMAZING: so helpful in making sure you feel well-equipped in classes, degree, and life in general. Great experience so far: not as scary as I was expecting for a big school, thought I'd get lost in the crowd. But they care about YOU (or at least once you get past the orientation).

State is amazing! The wolfpack will quickly become your family and they will support you in everything you do. We have phenomenal school spirit, especially evident at our football games! This is a great school for STEM majors. Although most people I know go home for the weekends so there isn't much to do, it makes you get out and explore your surroundings. I could talk all day about State, it's my home away from home and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
