Greek Life: I don't know a lot about the Greek life on campus, but I do know that we have multiple frats and sororities. Some people do join, although most people that I know aren't interested.

Athletics: The student attendance is very high for the men's football games and the men's basketball games, but not as high for other games (i.e. women's soccer).

Overall Experience: I go to North Carolina State University and I would gladly do make the decision again. The energy of the campus is amazing and there is always something to do there. I also enjoy being so close to downtown.

Overall Experience: At first, I kind of doubted attending NC State because I felt left out. But after the first couple months I started to love it more and more. The professors are so helpful and passionate about what they teach, which makes the classes way more interesting. Overall, all of the staff is kind especially at the dining halls too. I've made lots of great friends too.

Overall Experience: The people here are amazing and diverse. NC State has so many international and forward-thinking students, and with so many different cultures represented on campus, every day is a learning experience. My best friend in college is an international student, and she never fails to shock me with her different life views and experiences. In addition, one might think that NC State puts such a heavy emphasis on science and engineering that it chokes out art, but this is not so. Even as an engineering student, I have been lucky to enjoy lots of time in the University theatre and the crafts center. One of the best things about my school is that I don't have to choose between two things I love, engineering and art, because here I can do both.

Overall Experience: I was really excited to go here but now, my second year here, I realize that I should have looked into the university a little bit more. Let me start out by saying that when you go here, you are receiving a top notch education and classes here are no joke. However, that is about all this place seems to offer. Let me start by saying if you want to be involved in Greek Life, you should probably start looking at different colleges now. The moment you join Greek Life at NC State, you lose any kind of privacy. I've had to make all my social media accounts private because the school and IFC create fake accounts to follow me and NCSU police constantly patrol Greek Court. It's very clear that the school doesn't like Greek Life and the only reason they wont get rid of it is because they know they would lose applicants if they took away Greek Life. So instead, they just control it to the point where it may as well not exist. As a result, any kind of gathering or party is almost always shut down and the police here will look for almost any reason to ticket you.

Now if you are someone who just wants a good education and plans to play video games all the way through college, look no further. But if you are someone that likes to get out and just let loose on the weekends and meet people left and right, that isn't the atmosphere here.

Extremely stressful classes, not a lot of opportunities to meet people, and a serious lack of things to do on the weekend. Together, it makes an atmosphere that really just isn't healthy. Students need an outlet to relieve stress on the weekends and outside of home football games, it doesn't exist.

If I could do it over again, I would probably look past North Carolina State University. Unless you attend here with a large group a friends going with you, you will probably regret not looking at other colleges more seriously.

Overall Experience: I love being a part of the Wolfpack family. It truly feels like this is where I belong. I was upset when I didn't get into Chapel Hill, but now I'm glad that NC State accepted me, because this is where my heart is. I bleed wolfpack red and I wouldn't have it any other way. Waking up to this beautiful campus everyday is such a blessing.

Overall Experience: It's honestly amazing, though I'm still trying to figure things out as I'm on my own for the first time. There were some things I was ill-prepared for, but I'm met a lot of good friends from across the state and the world, and I'm really looking forward to my next several years here.

Overall Experience: This university has given me so many opportunities; I currently work two jobs and am applying to study abroad. I work as a farmhand on one of the teaching units which is unique to NC State, and I also work for the scholars office. These experiences have had a great impact on my life at school by giving me the opportunity to gain experience in a field that I love. I also have an incredible support system with the Thomas Jefferson Program, the University Scholars Program, and my faculty advisers. My advisers have helped me pursue my dream of studying abroad as well as finding research and veterinarian opportunities. I love this university and am so grateful that is all dreams are within reach here.

Overall Experience: I could not have chosen a better college to start my college career. Everyone is very accepting on the campus and I have never met a group of people so welcoming before.

Overall Experience: The school has a lot to offer but you really have to put yourself out there to get involved. And the classes are extremely difficult much harder than I expected!

Overall Experience: Honestly I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The transition from high school into NC State was flawless. I started my classes in the same place when I left school(800 miles away), and I learn plenty of new things every day. The campus and professors have been great as well. Most every teacher I have is very helpful and engaged in class every day. Looking at sports and student life NC State is also very fun. Tickets to all athletic games are free, and the atmosphere at games is amazing, and I have met many friends at games. If I had to make one complaint, it would probably be about the dining halls. The food isn't great and gets old pretty quick.

Overall Experience: I love NC state! It's science and engineering oriented and it goes well with my major. The people are really nice; you can always ask for help. I'm glad that I made the right decision to come here and if I could do it all over again, I would still choose NC State( if I don't get accepted to an Ivy League).

Overall, the students' experience with NCSU is that it provides them with a rich learning environment. Students learn to balance play and work. Some come to NC State because of family tradition, to get away from the cold, or because of the College of Engineering-but whatever the reason is for the individual, positive feedback always finds its way out. Professors at the University will go above and beyond their call of duty. You make lifelong friends, and you have a huge list of organizations to partake in. Whether you're involved in a college sport, student government, or the Agribusiness Club, you will find your niche here among the thousands of students. Some professors will take you under their wing, and you will learn enormous amounts of information from them. These professors will also become lifelong connections who will probably end up writing letters of recommendation for you when it is time for you to find a job.

NC State wants its students to succeed not only in academics, but in life, too. Here you learn important lifelong skills that are essential to your survival in the real world. Classes can be rigorous and stressful, but students find a way to overcome hardships and get through. Professors will push you to do your best, but at the same time, they understand what it was like to be a student. NC State will help you become an expert in your subject of choice, and with the large number of students, you will come out of college ready to work in some of the most diverse settings.
