3 College Junior

Technology: Honestly I dont use the schools computers of printers because it is a hassle. I have my own

5 College Sophomore

Technology: The computers provided give students the opportunity to access a variety of assignment to complete before their deadline. The lab has a printer for student without one to make sure their able to print what's needed. They has an acceptable amount of computers in the lab. The only problems we will commonly encounter is the printer running out of paper, or one of the computers being out of order.

4 College Freshman

Technology: Computers are offered in every dorm room. I know in dorms the printing is free. In the library I think you may be charged, I personally don't know I have never used the library printers. You should bring your own printer simply because when the labs fill up and sometimes the computers in the lab are extremely slow.

3 College Junior

Technology: Internent has little problems needs work and some computers need to be replaced

2 College Freshman

Technology: Usually the availability of computers is very slim to none which is why having your own computer is very essential

Student Author OverviewWhat's this?

View student contributors
There are many computer labs available for student use at NC A&T. Bluford Library has many computers on the first and second floors, as well as in the basement. Almost every academic building has a computer lab for student use, including the residence halls. The engineering building alone has about five labs, and there is a lab in the Memorial Student Union. You can also checkout an iPad, Kindle, or laptop computer from Bluford Library for a few hours or even up to three days at a time. There is Wi-Fi that students can connect to all over campus. The Wi-Fi is usually very reliable, except on certain days when the IT department evaluates or assesses any issues the Wi-Fi connection may be experiencing. Owning a personal laptop is convenient for students, but it is not necessary to be successful at the University. Students in the Honors program who don't have laptops are able to use University-issued laptops throughout the year. Exam week poses quite a strain on the available number of computers in Bluford Library and in the computer labs around campus since lots of students flock to the library, computer labs, and study rooms to prepare for exams. However, during any other time throughout the year, all computer labs are usually accessible and open for students to utilize.
